Guest flingingfeces Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Playing BlazBlue CT at the moment and wondering what you all think is the best 2D fighter? Â Arc has some of the best character designs and animations I ever seen in a 2D fighter, but I can't help but love my one and only Street Fighter.
The DarkSlayer Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 My favorite fighting game. I'm a master with Jin and Litchi hehe And ACS too, a free 2d tales fighting game. Video sample    DL link http://anibache.web.t-racing.org/ACS/ Check it out .
SummGai Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 BB is fun but right now Im into P4 Arena, but even more so recently the revival of Guilty Gear
Mailamea Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I play blazblue continuum shift like mad, mastered noel on an arcade I don't remember the name of the guy the knight looking one that shoots ice shards he's annoying. Â Street fighter 2-3 is cool too.
Mailamea Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I've been playing MK since MK2 -> MK3 -> MKUltimate edition. Â Then when they did the only exclusive for console stuff for ps2 and the latest for ps3 I stopped. Â Noob saibot is cheap on the mk ultimate, but I love kung lao best, I can do his 14 hit combo without just spamming the keys.
Cezul Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The answer is obviously fairy fighting, guise.

[/quote'] Â I got them all The PS3 one is just a remake of the PS2 one.
Guest flingingfeces Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I loved the new MK on PS3! Soooooo much stuff to unlock.  @SummGai  Revival of Guilty Gear you say?
TheoryoftheDead Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 The first Killer Instinct for the SNES, y'all know it's true. The main theme is such a dose of nostalgia.
Siouliusn Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I would say Marvel vs Capcom , the 1st and 2nd gave us tons of laugh and rage at that time. (KI was great indeed, the sabrewulf theme *_* )
Guest flingingfeces Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 MvC 1 and 2 awesome! 3 not so much.
GDelscribe Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Mugen. Â No I'm not talking super bullshit fighter 2000. Â I'm talking an actual balanced roster which is easily doable. Mugen is the best 2D fighter there is if you take the time to work on it.
beck11 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Mugen. Â No I'm not talking super bullshit fighter 2000. Â I'm talking an actual balanced roster which is easily doable. Mugen is the best 2D fighter there is if you take the time to work on it. Â Thats still around? I was sure it would have been ravaged to hell and back by the hentai mugen crowd and "over 9000 superz saiyanz" gits. Â Â Capcom vs SNK 2, Sham Sho 2, KOF 2002 Unlimited Match, MK 3 and 4. Alot of fond memories with these games. Â Darkstalkers series is also very good, progenitor of alot of the systems in gaming before it got popular like the magic/hunter/etc combo system in Capcom VS fighters and the super combo stuff. Wonderfully stylized fighter well ahead of its time.
Guest flingingfeces Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Capcom vs Snk is still one of my favorite Dreamcast games. Gawd that system rocked for 2D fighters! Luckily I still have the one I bought when it came out and all my fighters for it lol. Â Also I wish they would make a new Primal Rage! I really loved that game at the arcade along with Killer Instinct. We need another one of those too. The Snes version was awesome and I loved being able to do TJ combos ultra with just the L buttion and dpad.
