Guest Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 What a fucking irony. My wife's Google account was hacked by some Chinese hacker(s). The "funny" thing is that it happened after she upgraded Google security because they were annoying sending her and me constant warning about the need for security upgrade. After that we constantly getting new warning from Google about the need for security upgrade. The problem that is bugging us is that we don't know if we are the only ones (our country) that is receiving these warnings. Also, our region was excluded from free opening some sites we could open before 0.63.1 version and Google policy about the privacy protection. They simply fuck3ed up everything.
Nagib Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Could be that you received the security upgrade from the hoax (fake) email, that Google did not send to you at all.

It is from google. I have legitimate Kaspersky antivirus and Internet security plus Super Antyspyware professional. They blocked all fake sites and mails. But they aren't immune on pro hacking. Our country was under extreme hackers attacks lately especially for smart phones.
myuhinny Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Yeap I tend to ignore most emails that are sent from places stating that you have to upgrade this or that unless I first verify with that company by sending an email and asking if they truly have sent out this email or not otherwise you might get hit by a faker account trying to get your info and stuff. I don't trust any software 100% as all can make mistakes and fake email warnings from something like google is quite easy to do.

Thank you. None of us ever thought about idea of sending mail to google headquarters. We might start doing it from now. .)
