Help... I have a problem with the game... every time I try to play, I open a window that  is written.. "there was an error during startup. please consult the  .long file for further details"... by clickind OK it closes me... what should I do? can you help me?

It says log, not long. Sims3 has 2 log files in your documents\sims 3 folder.

Their names are DeviceConfig.log and Sims3LauncherLogFile.log.

The problem should be in the first log file, and I believe that game can not recognize your GPU.

If your having issues having your game recognise your GPU, then may I suggest you go to this link. It has helped me a few times. Getting your card recognized
