MrMagoo Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 So this isn't a sexout question but hoping someone might have some insight on this weird situation... I have pubic hair (strip) on my character model despite installing and trying to use various different versions of a shaved body type. I tried copying the files directly (messhes + textures) directly into the install directory instead to test and that way I got the "underwear" body version. Using MO2. Anyone got any ideas what is going on here or where it might be getting this strip texture from?!? Thanks,

The thing on top is what is loaded first and everything after that overwrites duplicates (virtually). So in plain English, what's in your 'data' map is the top layer... Then every mod on the left-pane that's toggled will overwrite those files during load. So placing things in the data-directory doesn't do anything, because probably a mod in your install list will overwrite those textures during load. What you need to do to test character models is, install them in Mod Organizer and move them on the left side to the bottom row, just above 'Overwrite'. And if you don't like it, just untoggle/delete it and it will go back to the next in the list (from Bottom to top) that overwrites the characters texture. If you want to knbow which mod overwriting the body-texture... Go on the right page to the 'data' tab and browse to textures/character/female. And you'll see which mod is responsible for 'upperbody'... And you will also see all 'losers'. (I'm using a dutch version of Mod organizer 1, but it's the same for Mod Organizer 2)
MrMagoo Posted October 12, 2018 Author Posted October 12, 2018 Thanks the advice about looking in the right pane to see what is providing the texture is not something I was familiar with and should be helpful!
