I wanted to start this thread because I personally want to get into making machinima/pornos for my sims. The thing is, I need help and wanted to ask the community for help. There are so many talented people on this site. So this is a place where you can share your Machinima whether it be X rated or PG. This thread is for videos and advice only.

I'm gping to attempt to revive this old thread BUT ONLY as a means of giving those of us who want to create our own custom TV channels some videos to work with

 

I'll start

 

FIRST OFF - I'll go into the method I use but you can use your own method as your mileage may vary

 

After I make the source video (Which you can easily do with the free OBS Studio application, I then...

 

  • Transfer them to my Android phone 
  • Edit them with an app called Quik (An old, outdated version you can get for free here) usually using the LOWEST possible setting in terms of duration (I'll explain in a minute)
  • Transfer the edited version back to the PC
  • Edit again & convert into the .PACKAGE format as instructed in this tutorial

Once you're done editing, you can then upload the final product here or to cloud storage (BE CAREFUL THOUGH as some cloud storage providers don't allow NSFW content to be shared. BECAUSE OF THIS, it's best that you upload it here DIRECTLY

 

The reason why I say I usually use the lowest possible setting in terms of duration is this...

 

First - It really depends on what source you believe to be true as it's so subjective & so open to interpretation, it's really almost easier to just figure it out for yourself & go from there (A quick Google Search proves this point). With that in mind, here's the real time to sim time converter chart I use (Up to 1 hour real time)

 

NOTE - REAL TIME is shown first

 

  1. 15 Seconds = Approximately 30 Minutes
  2. 30 Seconds = Approximately 1 Hour
  3. 60 Seconds = Approximately 1 1/2 Hours

Notice how the time conversion changed as the real time to sim time conversion went from 30 real time seconds to 60 real time seconds??

 

Now KEEP IN MIND - This is just my formula & the formula I've found to be somewhat reliable however YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY (And it likely will depending on the tools your use to make your videos before you enter all the steps in the tutorial)

 

Speaking of the tutorial - I'm going to have to watch it almost quite literally frame by frame if I ever hope to get my custom Streaming TV services off the ground (The custom Radio & ASMR part I've pretty much figured out & am working on that

 

HAVING SAID ALL OF THAT - Here's my first video.  It's basically a cumpilation (Get it?? ??) of all the videos I had available to me at the time
