hello!! I am looking for someone that can help me move pex files into their correct folder so that I can get skyui working in skyrim SE I have all the dll's in place its just figuring out where to place the pex files, I have the skse64 v2.0.8 and it came with instructions but theyre not clear as to clarifying what folder to move the pex files to it just says," move all pex files from data/scripts into data/scripts folder of installation I don't know if that folder is skse64 folder or the folder inside the skyrim se scripts folder where the dll's are found. is there anyone that could help me out here??id really would appreciate this im getting tired of the error messages in game when I load a saved game file. or if someone would be willing to do remote access to organize these files for me or maybe even guide me through skype that would help too

If the folders scripts or scripts\source not exist, then create.

Data is always in Skyrim directory - the same in Skyrim and Skyrim SE.

Expamples:

Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\ *files

Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\data\

Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\data\scripts\ files*

Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\data\scripts\source\ files*

Quote of Readme:

[ Installation ]

1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\. If you see files named TESV and SkyrimLauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it.

2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.

3. Copy the .psc files in Data\Scripts\Source\ into the Data\Scripts\Source\ folder of your installation. The .psc files are only needed if you have the CreationKit installed and intend to create or compile Papyrus scripts.

4. Launch the game via running skse_loader.exe. Steam must be running before launching Skyrim.

If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Skyrim normally, just update the shortcut to point to skse_loader.exe instead of TESV.exe or SkyrimLauncher.exe.
