Merge Plugins Help

So I made a merge esp of armor, clothing and weapons (ACW.esp) some time ago. Since then, I've fiddled with the records of  ACW.esp... and now, I want to merge more armor,clothing and weapons to it, but it appears I need the original individual esps.  It's not a big issue to un-ghost those esps and merge again.. but what about the records I've changed inside of the ACW.esp merge?  Will those changes revert back to what they originally were?

 

Is there an easier way of adding more mods to my ACW.esp merge?

If you re-build your merge using the original mods esp's, then yes any changes you have made to the merged esp will revert back to what they were in the original esp.

 

As for adding more file to your merge you should be able to load up the esp of the files you want to add to it, and then select your acw.esp as the destination file rather then choosing a new file for the merge, though to be honest I tend to completely rebuild merges each time, mind you I do not tend to redo merges that often.
