spicyspaghetti Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Ok so i have this issue with FNIS, Bodyslide and Mod Organizer, I add Bodyslide and FNIS to the executables through MO, i run both and have pretty much no issues during the process. Then i do the ''Create Mod" thing with the overwrite folder for bodyslide and FNIS. And at this point if i check the Bodyslide patch, i can play the game without any problems, but noting has been changed by bodyslide. If i check the FNIS patch, the game crashes on loading. I don't think it's a mod/plugins order (maybe) because everything works ok (except Bodyslide and any of the FNIS stuff) Any help ? 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp 6 6 Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm 7 7 SexLab.esm 8 8 SexLabAroused.esm 9 9 ZaZAnimationPack.esm 10 a SexLab - Sexual Fame [SLSF].esm 11 b Amputator.esm 12 c ApachiiHair.esm 13 d ApachiiHairFemales.esm 14 e ApachiiHairMales.esm 15 f CreatureFramework.esm 16 10 Devious Devices - Assets.esm 17 11 Devious Devices - Integration.esm 18 12 Devious Devices - Expansion.esm 19 13 DeviousFramework.esm 20 14 Heretical Resources.esm 21 15 ImCh.esm 22 16 TaraUltimateFurniturePack.esm 23 17 HighResTexturePack01.esp 24 18 HighResTexturePack02.esp 25 19 HighResTexturePack03.esp 26 1a XPMSE.esp 27 1b SkyUI.esp 28 1c UIExtensions.esp 29 1d SOSRaceMenu.esp 30 1e RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp 31 1f CalienteVanillaArmorTweaks.esp 32 20 SOS - Smurf Average Addon.esp 33 21 SOS - VectorPlexus Muscular Addon.esp 34 22 SOS - VectorPlexus Regular Addon.esp 35 23 AnubAnimObj.esp 36 24 ApachiiHairStyles.esp 37 25 RealisticRoomRental.esp 38 26 LEBO.esp 39 27 NPC_Overhaul_V_1_.esp 40 28 ApachiiHairStylesELVES.esp 41 29 Helgen Reborn.esp 42 2a xazPrisonOverhaulPatched.esp 43 2b Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp 44 2c Immersive Weapons.esp 45 2d Schlongs of Skyrim.esp 46 2e PrvtI_HeavyArmory.esp 47 2f Slaverun_Reloaded.esp 48 30 SimpleSlavery.esp 49 31 MoreNastyCritters.esp 50 32 SexLab_Dialogues.esp 51 33 Deviously Enslaved.esp 52 34 Ghosu - Project Flintlock.esp 53 35 iNeed.esp 54 36 ApachiiHelmetWigs.esp 55 37 Apropos.esp 56 38 SLAL_AnimationByBakaFactory.esp 57 39 Bathing in Skyrim - Main.esp 58 3a Bathing in Skyrim - Realistic Room Rental.esp 59 3b BeautifulCorpse.esp 60 3c DeadlyMutilation.esp 61 3d Devious Devices For Him.esp 62 3e DeviouslyHelpless.esp 63 3f DIVERSE SKYRIM.esp 64 40 dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp 65 41 dD-Dragonborn-Dawnguard-EBT Patch.esp 66 42 dD-Reduced Splatter Size.esp 67 43 dD-Reduced Wound Size.esp 68 44 SOS - ERF Horse Penis CBBE - Addon.esp 69 45 12FemaleBrows.esp 70 46 ImmersiveFP.esp 71 47 FloppySOS.esp 72 48 hothtrooper44_ArmorPatch.esp 73 49 Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp 74 4a iNeed - Dangerous Diseases.esp 75 4b K2SOSPiercings.esp 76 4c SLAL_K4Anims.esp 77 4d KS Hairdo's.esp 78 4e NonSexLabAnimationPack.esp 79 4f PeeAndFart.esp 80 50 RaceMenu.esp 81 51 RaceMenuPlugin.esp 82 52 RohZima_AnimObjects.esp 83 53 SexLab Aroused Creatures.esp 84 54 SexLab Cumshot.esp 85 55 SexLab Submit.esp 86 56 sexlab_WearAndTear.esp 87 57 SL_shrines.esp 88 58 SexLabHorribleHarassment.esp 89 59 SLSO.esp 90 5a SexLabWorkingGirl.esp 91 5b SkyrimConfigMenu.esp 92 5c SL_Kidnapped_Redux.esp 93 5d NibblesAnimObjects.esp 94 5e SLAL_ProxyAnimObjects.esp 95 5f SLAL_SHanimAnimObj.esp 96 60 SLAL_AnimationsByLeito.esp 97 61 SLALAnimObjBillyy.esp 98 62 KomAnimObjects.esp 99 63 SLAnimLoader.esp 100 64 Slaverun_Reloaded_Comments.esp 101 65 SlaveTats.esp 102 66 SOS - ERF - HighPoly Addon.esp 103 67 SOS - ERF - HighPoly Equipable.esp 104 68 SOS - Grower - Extended.esp 105 69 SOS - Grower.esp 106 6a SOS - ERF Equipable Horse Penis.esp 107 6b SOS - ERF Horse Penis Addon.esp 108 6c SOS - Leito Addon.esp 109 6d submitdd_ff.esp 110 6e submitdd_ff_exp.esp 111 6f TheEyesOfBeauty.esp 112 70 VivisCockcage.esp 113 71 VivisCockCage Addon for DD.esp 114 72 VivisHorsecages.esp 115 73 FNIS.esp 116 74 FNISspells.esp 117 75 SLALAnimObj.esp 118 76 Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp
Nazzzgul666 Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Since none of the created mods include an .esp, load order doesn't help here. But even for install order i don't think it actually matters , in case of doubt put them at the very end and make sure it's sorted by priority (default), not alphabetical or something. Although i'm not really an expert and sometimes had problems without beeing able to fiure out why, until you find somebody who knows better hopefully my messy workarounds will help you. One important question for both would be if it works if you just leave it in the overwrite folder? 1. Bodyslide. Depends on what you try to achieve. If you want to change your body, bodyslide tends to work strange with MO and (for me) it's rather unpredictable where it's going to put the files. I've found them in overwrite, in the bodyslide folder, and even other folders. If you just want to create the meshes for clothes, when asked by bodyslide where to put the files you can right create a new folder and chose that as output folder. Then you need to refresh MO to see the folder, but you could also just create a new folder (in MO/mods) before starting bodyslide. That should work flawlessly. 2. FNIS output. Again, i also had sometimes some trouble with creating a folder out of overwrite and checking that. In general i just leave it in the overwrite folder, that is not a problem in general. The reason it's not recommended is that the overwrite folder becomes a mess if you do that with everything and everytime, making it very hard to figure out which file belongs to what if you want to create new folders later. This can indeed be mandatory for some things like cleaned DLC files output from TES5edit because they actually need to be way up in your install order and maybe merged mods or something where you need a certain load/install order that isn't at the end, but for FNIS and bodyslide output you want it to overwrite everything anyways, which it does if you leave it in overwrite. So if that's the last things you do... it's ok.

Hell MO won't build the files anywhere for me, even MO2 if i select an output folder. I need to go to Bodyslide Settings and change the Data path to the Overwrite folder. You won't see textures but at least it will create without problems. Using ctrl+build will leave the files in the Bodyslide folder, but this is not interesting at all as it don't build inside original folders. For FNIS... is EVERYTHING running as admin? It's been some time since i played Skyrim but it always worked for me without problems, both creating a new mod or click+drag the folders outside of overwrite to another mod. I don't remember FNIS + crashes, only FNIS with T-Pose. As Nazzzgul666 suggested, test with the files in overwrite.
Varithina Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 If you are on windows 10 I think one of the recent updates did something, somewhere odd, mainly due to previously I had no problems with fnis and such, but now if there are no fnis files preset it works fine but if there are any fnis itself complains about missing temp files even though they are actually there. As for building bodyslide output somewhere, when doing batch build, hold down the ctrl key and then click on batch build it should then ask you where you want to build to, I normally build to a working directory, zip that up then install it as a mod, you can build them anywhere as long as there is not a meshes directory already there.

That works fine for the clothes meshes, what i couldn't properly figure out myself is where it puts the body. I have the feeling by now i have multiple creations of a body installed and i'm not sure where to find them... partly because i'm not 100% sure which files are required or important. *edit: a typical problem with FNIS that leads to crashes is if one has too many animations installed, and the limit is influenced by mutliple, partly unknown factors. To exclude this as a reason it's recommended to go below 10k.

To exclude this as a reason it's recommended to go below 10k. The build for bodyslide works the same for the body meshes you just need to make sure it only build the body you want, as quite a few armour packs and racemenu presets come with their own body built in, in this case what I tend to do is build all the armour parts, if you did batch build and did not use filters you should then get a massive big list of every item bodyslide can build, I normally just go through it and deselect any I do not want or if I am not in a big rush, deselect them all then manually go through and select each item I want, if you have duplicates at the end it will ask you which item you want it to build though. When all the armour parts are built I would then re run and only build the body type in my case uunp special, hands and xpmse feet usually, build in the same directory you built everything else and it should then overwrite any body meshes that were of the wrong type. Fnis when I run it says there are about 6-7k animations total, which is very much below the recommended number of animations, so should not be a major problem, one thing you might want to check though is that you do not have multiple versions of mesh skinning, hdt, smp etc, I know I was having major problems with random crashes and when I checked found I had somehow installed 4 different version of hdt/smp ?

How exactly do you tell bodyslide where to build the body? I know how it works for clothes, but somehow that way never (at least not always) worked the same way. Even after years using it that's something i consider unpredictable.^^ 4 hours ago, Varithina said: Fnis when I run it says there are about 6-7k animations total, which is very much below the recommended number of animations, so should not be a major problem, one thing you might want to check though is that you do not have multiple versions of mesh skinning, hdt, smp etc, I know I was having major problems with random crashes and when I checked found I had somehow installed 4 different version of hdt/smp ? Honestly i doubt i have only one version, but for myself i can't complain about stability - it does crash, but maybe once in 20-40 hours playing which i consider quite stable. If animation count is the reason for crashes you'll know pretty much immediatly, if you're above the limit it won't let you start a new game or load a game even once and crash on every try, that's not nice but at least you don't have to guess once it happens.^^
spicyspaghetti Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 Ok so i tried Di3sIrae's method and it looked like it works. I'm still working on the FNIS animations, i will edit the post when i get the solution I disabled some SLAL packs and i can play the game with the patch activated : it doesn't work when i have all of them checked if like, 2 or 3 of those packs are unchecked the game work, but the FNIS animations don't play I use FNIS XXL, and atfer i run it with all the SLAL Packs, it says i have around 16k something animations
Nazzzgul666 Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 16k is quite a lot, that FNIS XXL is able to handle 20k doesn't matter that much because it doesn't necessarily mean Skyrim can handle them. At least not if you have any other mods installed. For animations not working, post a screenshot of your FNIS output.
spicyspaghetti Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Ok so that was exactly what you said, too much animations (i'm down to 12k something animations) it was wierd because i had zero warnings in the FNIS output Everything works fine now except some ctd that aren't related to FNIS thanks
Nazzzgul666 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 As i said, FNIS is not the problem - it can handle far more animations. But Skyrim can't, and since the exact circumstances why and where the limit is are unknown, FNIS also can't throw an error or prevent you from adding more animations than Skyrim can handle.
