Could someone tell me how this happens?

I get this same issue and it is not fixed by archive invalidation being toggled on and off. I don't run a male body replacer, instead using the default included in sexout, and I've had the problem since I started playing it, just figured it was because the default body texture is not great for certain races. I get that texture only on random powder gangers and generally lower class humans like freesiders, raiders and such, and on friendly ghouls, (feral ghouls retain their original ghoul texture for some reason).

Again, on most male models this doesn't happen, but always for friendly ghouls, and sometimes for lower class males. I assume it won't happen for people who run a male body replacer so could be something many folk haven't encountered.

edit: here's my current load order I've settled on to try a full playthrough finally;), but as i mentioned it's happened with every load order I have ever used

I actually have the same issue. Have never been bothered to fix it though. It's caused by having a body and armor mesh that don't match up.

If its only happening on friendly ghouls and "lower class" humans, then the problems lie in ghoul and raider textures. Feral ghouls wouldn't tweak because they aren't considered human by the game, they run as creatures with an independant texture and mesh. And humans, both male and female, run separate normal and raider textures. Hopefully this helps find where the problem lies.

I think the issue is with the default sexout body textures...do yo you run with a male body replacer?, again I've never used one, only for the females, but I've had the male texture issue since I first installed sexout. I've considered trying breezes to see if this fixes the issue.

Breezes is what sexout uses. Try this: get breezes off nexus. Open it up with 7zip or whatever archive program you prefer. Pull out the raider textures only. Either manually install them or put them in a new archive and run them through FOMM. Toggle archive invalidation off and back on, then run the game and see if that fixed it. If it fixes it do the same for male ghouls or get the Beware of Girl ghoulishly gross texture pack. If it doesnt work, come back and we'll try something else.

Ah ha solved the problem. From what you are telling me, Breeze is the default body incldued to use in sexout, so normally no need to download anything, I went to the breeze nexus page and checked the notes and downloads. You guys must be missing an important patch file http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/download/92150 which are breeze's new vegas armour fixes. I insatlled the patch file and now do not have any issues with humans. I'll post back here when I've found some ghouls to experiment with.

Still having the issue with ghouls, , at least the dead bright follower i found had weird skin issues after i took his robe off...humans still seem ok for the most part but i'll need more testing.

Ended up just installing all of breeze and the armour fixes as I was getting some funny textures. The first file i installed stopped the colors from being wrong but the texture itself was still odd. Will need to find some ghouls to test again, don't have a saved game from where there are any friendlies

Archive didn't work so I simply downloaded the breeze fomod from nexus, it's fixed but I expect it will have some repercussions in the bodies used in the animations.

Edit: Image removed btw.

Make sure you install the armour fixes and the fixes for all the dlc's that you have. It has cleared up the issue completely for me, both for ghouls and regular humans, but I had to install every file.
