Thanks ! private investigator career.....update or delete....pornography career....update or delete...you have a sims death mod? update or delete that too.
xPurpleDreamer Posted September 6, 2018 Author Posted September 6, 2018 Ok so I deleted the pornography and private investigator careers and the death mod (from 2015... so yeah). I also updated Basemental and the pregnancy mega mod, and deleted Hoe it up mod 'cause for some reasons it also appears in the Last exception file even though I have the latest version of the mod. The game seems to load faster but it still crashes... Is there a way that some old mods unrelated to WW like a few objects could cause these crashes ? Or maybe too much loaded animations ?
procian Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 When you say crashing...is it straight away or after a while?.....are your gfx drivers up to date? are you playing in 32 or 64 bit?

I'm playing in 64 bit, currently updating my drivers, I'll see if it changes anything. Â EDIT :Â I updated my drivers and lowered my graphic settings, still crashing... I don't have any more last exception file/in game notification though. Any idea ?

Ok.....could be dodgy cc causing the crash.....and it could be anything.....could try moving ww extra skintones into the mods folder itself...also delete localthumbcache.pkg.

I also moved all the mods (objects, clothes, hair, accessories) I'm not using in my current save but still crashing. Do you think I can move the mods I'm using in my save without making a mess ? If I put them back after, all things will be replaced with default meshes/skins right ? I don't know what else I can do. Most of my mods are dated between 2016 and 2018, don't know if it changes something.

I'd start by looking at the 2016 stuff first.....this will turn out to be a face palm moment once the problem item/items are found.....btw what gfx card do you have? If you take your cc out and play you will have a few bald/naked/half dressed sims walking about....if you exit without saving and put your cc back you should be ok.

The only other thing is try lowering your settings.....turn off shadows etc sim detail,anti aliasing etc etc.....if you can fiddle with your gfx card settings try running it in best performance and setting anti aliasing etc to application controlled....also how much ram do you have?

I have an Intel HD Graphics 5500 (I can't update the drivers for this one 'cause apparently it's personalized stuff and I'd have to contact the manufacturer) and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M, 8Go of RAM. I'll look around my mods again and tell you if something changed. I already lowered my settings to middle except for the sims but I'll try to lower them more. Thanks for the answer though, I wasn't sure if I was gonna break my game by moving mods and all !

Ok.....I take it crashes on your saved game? or is it doing it on a new game?....The Ts3 stuff may have messed up your save.
xPurpleDreamer Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 Aaah, I think I fixed it. I moved all the 2014/15/16 mods and started a new game on a new save slot with one random dude. Tried a few animations (crashes happened mostly when I was playing animations, or at least it crashed faster), then moved back all my mods and it still worked with that guy. So I saved my household of the other save and created a new one, it crashed again but I lowered my settings a bit more and now it works. I can't let my computer run too hard though, I think it's overheating with maximum graphic settings. Which is weird, it never happened on other really detailed and modded games like Skyrim. Oh well, I hope it'll last ! Thank you so much for your support, I was starting to give up Dx
