Haven't been able to play whickedwhims since Seasons!

Everytime I've tried to install it since Seasons, it's screwed up my game. I've installed it the same as I always have. I went through and deleted any old wickedwhims files in the mods folder. And I'm making sure not to put them into a sub-folder. First, it would come up saying "cannot load game: error code: 3" or something... but the last few times I've tried installing it into my game, after loading the game back up, it gets me to pick a season again?? I pick a season and it tells me to choose my world but the screen is white, except for a little tab down the bottom that says "funds: $0" so frustrating!! Anyone got any ideas? >__<
