akayds Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Hi, My FPS runs at an acceptable for me anywhere but when i enter the bee and barb it just gradually drops to like 3 fps. Sometimes it will stay there even when i leave, sometimes it will stop once i leave. I cannot find anything modifying meshes for objects like SMIM does (which i dont use). I got body mods, clothes and HDT-SMP but these seem to be fine outside (they do give a performance hit but still acceptable for me in other areas) so i'm really wondering what it is about Bee and Barb that crushes my fps. There has to be some kind of mesh conflict or something? I've disabled lightning mods, didnt help, disabled immersive wenches etc and didnt help, tried disabling HQ town and villages and stuff that affects textures and it doesnt help. I gain a few fps from those but still doesnt justify the massive drop in Bee and Barb. Any ideas? EDIT: I've notcied GPU hits 100% outside in the beginning after first dungeon (chose Camp from alternate life) and im hitting near 60fps, then i coc RiftenOrigin and in riften i drop to around 30 fps, CPU jumps to like 50% and GPU drops to like 50%. Then inside Bee and Barb, GPU drops again and CPU hits 100% and i hit like 3 fps EDIT2: Reinstalled XPMSE and chose 0 options and it fixed some errors i was having in logs and improved FPS at least outside riften, but in Bee and Barb that time it took a little longer untill it reaches under 10fps again. Can't find any more errors at the end of my logs and since CPU is peaking im wondering what it could be, please advise EDIT3: Sad update, when i deactivated hdt-smp the fps went back to normal - i am hoping that its just not configured right and fixable. Is there a way i can have non-naked NPCs use simple physics like CBP but then when the body is naked, use HDT-SMP?FIX: So, thanks to @Vyxenne there is something you can do about it. Quicksave and Quickload and for me it went from 3 fps to 30+ which is playable in that area. HDT-SMP overall will impact performance but still playable for me 40+ fps most places. That specific issue where fps drops to unplayable level can potentially be fixed by just doin that. Worked great for me in my scenario.
gareb1 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 I have the same issue. I read a post about using a custom race. I guess then you would just have your player character using SMP. Haven't tried it yet. Worth a shot.
