handsandarrows Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Hello all, Â i only play Skyrim now very rare, like every few months, and some time ago, my MO can no longer connect to Skyrim Nexus, i think probaby they changed the address? It is not a username problem i am sure. But even if i found the new address, i can't find any way to change it in MO i have (version 1.310)... Â Does anybody know how to fix, without reinstall MO i hope? I am to scared to break the many mods i have and profiles to be worth it to upgrade to newer MO i feel if i play so few times. Â Thank you!
Sh4d0wm4n Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 That's most likely SSL causing issues. I was running 1.3.10 too, a few days ago, and saw that they updated Mod Organizer to support SSL. It shouldn't be an issue to download the newer 1.3.15 and just copy & replace everything. That's what I did anyway and I've had no issues since then.
Guest Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 MO1 is not compatible with the new nexus site for reasons I don't know. You have MO2 or an updated version of MO1 (the Legacy one, under Miscellaneous) here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194?tab=files  Just make a backup of your current MO folder (specially the mods and profiles ones) before replacing anything and replace MO1 for the new version (1 or 2, your choice). You can maintain the same folder structure but I'm pretty sure you should delete all the files from old MO, put the new ones and then use your mods/downloads/profiles folder to get everything working again.
handsandarrows Posted August 19, 2018 Author Posted August 19, 2018 Thank you all, to bad there is no other way, i maybe will try upgrade then!
Varithina Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Grab the mod organiser legacy version from here which should sort you out as it has been updated for the new stuff without needing to update to mo2, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194?tab=files
FoxLotus Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 Installing legacy 1.3.15 over the location of my 1.3.11 won't upset my modlist or profile structure will it?

No that was my usual way of updating the program, download the zip file, unpack then just copy and paste over the existing files, and choosing overwrite all when asked.
