puddles Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 I'm encountering an extremely bizarre variety of CTDs that I haven't been able to source. They happen almost exclusively in 1st Person, when I'm turning left to right. The game simply closes, no stalling or anything. Has anyone encountered this before?

No...I haven't crashed THAT WAY...lol. Have you tried Engine Bug Fixes and such??
puddles Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 Yeah, no effect with or without. The strangest part is that the game was working fine the other day, and...I don't think I did anything new with the game.

I guess the usual Search & Destroy mission is in order: turning-off obvious culprits and testing the results....tedious. Does it happen with a brand new character? Sometimes these things are buggered saves.
puddles Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 Yep, it even happens with a totally vanilla NG with the standard Imperial. Doesn't happen in interiors, doesn't happen in say...Anvil City's Worldspace. Happens in the Tamriel WS.
