Help with installing mods?

Recommended Posts

Some few errors popped up with the fnis check, and thats the same version of bodyslide that i currently use

The version maybe same, but the slider files are different. CBBE for oldrim and CBBE for SE are different. FNIS errors means you still have some oldrim animations left in your installation. Did you uninstall ZAZ 7. Its probably the oldrim one.

yeah, would be a clean install then. just avoid anything from oldrim. in nexus click on Special Edition and search for mods.

If i do run into trouble after i attempt this, would i be able to contact you somewhere? such as discord or steam itself

your welcome

Sorry to disturb you so soon, I seem to have a small problem with fnis, Im following the instructions of the download, but the generateFNISforusers gives me an error and re-installing it doesnt seem to fix it

Error  2021  Language file(s) missing in Data\Tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\languages OR wrong generator path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users

I think i've made it work, the game is running but i cant tell if any of the mods are working, i've tried to test it with the devious cursed loot, with the loot stuff from wardrobes, bodies etc but so far i havent seen a single sign that it works, and the a alternate start mission it has seems to be bugged for me

Found the cause of your most problem. Change your steam library folder to D: drive, at least only for Skyrim SE. Windows UAC causes a lot of problem, so there are many files missed by the Mod Manager. FNIS is reporting that problem cause of it.

XPMSE is for oldrim. You need XPMSSE

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1988

And when you run the FNIS_XXL (for Skyrim SE version!), check the "SKELETON Arm Fix". Make sure XPMSSE is last in mod order so no other mod overwrites it. This should solve the T-pose.

And to make sure that mods are working, press ESC once ingame. You should see MCM config menus. Some mods may only appear after you save and load game again.

ok but my new problem is that all the textures for the custom items are gone

Im re-installing everything again for the d drive, then ill just download the mods required for the cursed loot as the website says for special edition, and hope it works

I have completely re-installed all of the mods, deleted everything from game to mods then re-downloaded them by triple checking everything if its for special editition, so i really dont know what im doing wrong in making this not work

Did you run bodyslide? Which Mod Manager do you use NMM or MO?

Im just about to do another re´-install and after activating the assets integration and expansion ones, ill do the fnis and then bodyslide again ill post you some screenshots about how it goes

I do have a question, ive never used bodyslide before, do i need to press every single one of the options in there and then build them all 1 by 1?

and i added both FNIS and bodyslide into nmm with the tools option it has

This is what i mean that it doesnt load, the stuff is equipped but not showing

This is what i mean with the animations, i try to acess one of the devices, but the character just stands there with my screen locked for a little bit

Now the mod is telling me that my version of skyrim needs to be of v1.9.32 but since its on steam shouldnt it already be updated to the highest?
