Okay, forget the last post, running SSE 1.5.39 and SKSE64 is at 2.0.7, got that from the Silverlock page. Still telling me SKSE64 is not running so SkyUI may not function properly. Hm. Any ideas?

I followed their instruction to copy *.exe and the *.dlls to main dir and all the *.pex to data; but a thought: Program Files (x86) is somehow write protected by Win, could that be a cause? skse64_readme.txt

UAC kicks in and messes up the Mod managers. better if you move your Steam library to D:\ or E:\ whichever you have.

Is it possible to move it to something like C:\Games\...etc? Would be great. Should have thought earlier about it, but then I'm new to Steam and all, always had retail versions, so I didn't know if it was possible to tell Steam where to install in the first place.

If you have a D:\ you can make a folder called D:\Steam, then use the Add Library option to add it to Steam. Installing in D:\ or E:\ helps when your windows goes bonkers and you have to re-install it. Just install steam and after logging in, do a Add Library and you have all your games installed in D:\ working again.
Tron91 Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Go to Steam library, right click on the game, then click properties.
Tron91 Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Also make sure, if you are using NMM, that the mod folder it uses is on the same drive as the game.

Is that a without-it-will-nuke-everything-requirement? C:\ is a SSD, E:\ is a HDD, just asking since after moving SSE I can actually read the game hints?

Sort of, if you keep forgetting to run NMM as admin, also the way Virtual Install works, you won't like it. Drive gets flooded with symlinks. Some tools prefer the actual files, not the symlinks.

Concerning SkyUI after all is done, any reason why it wouldn't work? Not tried yet, still doing setup and reading through some things. Okayyyyy........, something went wrong....... EDIT: if I'm not totally wrong vanilla SSE doesn't come with Meshes and Texture folders in Data?

Now I'm stuck with FNIS Sexy Moves, tempted to install it manually or not at all.
Tron91 Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Just add the archive through NMM or download it through NMM
Jolie Rouge Posted August 13, 2018 Author Posted August 13, 2018 33 minutes ago, Tron91 said: Just add the archive through NMM or download it through NMM I get the idea NMM is still linked to the first install of SSE in Program Files(x86), means it is not running as supposed to. Will give everything a reinstall tomorrow; today I got Sexlab working and added SL Aroused Redux SE, also working fine, but manual installation can be PITA and since the next one would be SOS I'll rework the whole thing. I've learned how FNIS works and what the other stuff does, that's enough for one day considering the coming reinstall

Still using NMM for LoadOrder. Yes, I know, no fixes and patches in there, could say it's the trial-and-error installation. Another question: any good body mods? Would the pictured one work?

Didn't use it, so can't say how it appears in game. Experiment with it, you always have the uninstall option.

Yeah, I know she still needs some tweaking and the face is vanilla, also need to get the armor into play but overall not bad. Oh, and big thanks for the help getting started!
