lastException error 8/4/18 *new to modding, help!*

Hi, I hope this is the correct place to post. I am brand new to modding and recently downloaded WickedWhims. 

 

Something popped up while I was playing yesterday with a warning stating "An error has occurred! An exception file (lastException.text) has been created"

 

I have no idea what to do! Please help.

Game needs updating it's 1-45-62-1020 now.

That's it? Just update the game itself? Do I have to do anything in the MODS folder?

See if any problems occur,if any ,after you update the game.....leave the mods folder for the moment....see if the update has broken anything.

Well done......it's also a good idea to regularly delete the localthumbcache.pkg file in the sims 4 folder especially if you add or delete cc and mods....keeps things tidy in game.

Okay thank you. I notice I have a lot of “stuff” in my Sims 4 folder...text documents and I see the lovalthumbcache.package. If I send a photo do you think you could help me understand what doesn’t need to be in there? Thanks so much for the info. You’re so nice!!

You can get rid of the l/e and crash files + localthumbcache.package can be deleted on a regular basis...always do this when adding and deleting stuff.
