The problem is that I don't keep a backup of the mods I upload, so if no one downloads it, it will be lost forever...

If I may be so bold to recommend something: Discord is free and making a discord server is free. Open a discord server and keep it private. You and only you can access it. Upload all your mods there and it should work as a way to backup your mods.

If someone requests an old mod, you can grab it from your discord server and give it to them. 

 

 

That aside, did ya'll know in Y0, there's a Golden Majima statue?

Regarding the Mods, it is better to save those files, hiding them in files of important things so they will never be lost.

The statue is special because hardly anyone ever knew about it. Everyone I asked only knew about the Kiryu statue, but not that Majima one. It's a bit of a personal completion thing.

 

Back to the mods: yeah. I do agree that using some system to save them is important. Discord isn't gonna be perfect, but it is an option that will work. It is much better than nothing. You said that "if no one downloads it, it will be lost forever." If you use a personal discord server, then at the very least it will be a backup that you don't have to keep saved on your computer.

I published my mod on patreon in case you want to support me, but as you may have noticed, instead of uploading the mod to patreon, I left a link in the posts so they can download the mod without having to subscribe to my patreon so as not to lock these in. mods behind a paywall

For things like this, you cannot leave the mods for free on Patreon since they are telling me in the notification that to prevent this from happening, I should only leave the mod accessible to my patrons.

juanpiolavago having a Patreon is pretty rich considering his history of shitposting about paid mods on here along with him re-uploading other's paid mods to blogspot and to Nexusmods under sockpuppets and then linking them here. 🙄
