[Search] [FAQ?] Spawning/finding female creatures

Alright so I have been trying to use female creatures in my game but so far all creatures in my game are male.

I've tried using creature framework and sex lab gender change, as well as trying through console.

I am using MNC v11 (and HornyCreaturesofSkyrim)

Is there something i'm missing?

Even if you are using HCoS, as far as I know only two creature species are set up to spawn as females: dragons and werewolves.

Both of them have a chance to spawn a female creature wherever a male one spawns in the vanilla game, but the problem is that you need to progress through the MQ enough to trigger dragon spawns, and werewolves are very scarce outside of a handful of wilderness encounters and Silver Hand bases (which IIRC can only be accessed through the Companions Inner Circle questline).

Note that in the case of dragons, the first dragon you meet (Mirmulnir, the one that attacks the Whiterun Watchtower) has a high chance of spawning as female, and can be forced to always be one if you edit his(her?) corresponding leveled NPC list to only include female reference NPCs.

As for any other creatures, none of them spawn as female by default, so you have to either use the "sexchange" console command on them ingame or use the CK/xEdit to tag them as female. And also bear in mind most (but not all) creatures don't have a proper female mesh and simply use the male mesh but with the penis removed.

Alright thanks for the info, for some reason I was under the impression that more creatures had a female mesh.

If you check out the FAQ Female Creatures thread linked by winny above you can see some of the existing ones, but pretty much all of them are integrated into MNC already; the only ones that aren't are dragons (which are handled by HCoS).

It's just that people don't really seem to be interested on creating deer or sabrecat pussy or any other creature's (can't blame them, as I'm only interested in dragons myself, for example). The fact that most creature stuff is oriented towards "male creature rapes female humanoid (N)PC" and thus doesn't need female creature assets doesn't help either.
