How do I make CBBE armor mod?

I recently installed the Creation Kit and I already have some previous experience in blender so for my first mod I wanted to make some skimpy armor. As a beginner, I hope someone could explain in detail how to import models from other mods ( CBBE Body ), how to get my models into the game, and how to rig my models so they work with HDT Bounce and Jiggles. I could find some decent tutorials on modding vanilla, but my biggest confusion is how to use other mods like CBBE in mine. If you are experienced in this type of work like many here are I'd appreciate a nice step-by-step, redirecting me to good tutorials would also be appreciated. Especially considering a lot of the NifScope tutorials seem to be outdated.

edit: While trying to figure things out myself, I managed to open the CBBE model in nifscope, then I exported it to obj format and now I have the body in blender. I really have no idea how to rig anything, but I guess I'll start the modelling.

For skin you should use 3ds or Outfitstudio (is part of Bodyslide).

Support for nifs and skeleton is not the best in Blender.

Not sure what you mean, I am looking at Outfit Studio and I don't see any option to create meshes within it. It does look like I can import obj files, should I create the armor pieces in Blender then import them to an Outfit?

Yes.

Open Outfitstudio and load your Body (CBBE). Export the CBBE mesh as Object.

Import the CBBE obj in Blender. Import setting:set Forward to Y Forward and Up to Z Up (i use Blender 2.79)

Then in Blender create your Armor or reshape this for your importet Body.

If done, export your Armor as Object (the same settings for Y and Z as in import)

Open Outfitstudio load your reference Body (CBBE).

Import your Armor obj.

On your Armor shape: Right click -> Copy Bone Weights (your cbbe body must be set as reference).

Export your Armor as Nif.

Make Settings for Textures, Slots etc. in Nifskope.

Ok thanks, I will try that tomorrow when I wake up, and I will update this thread if I figure it out.
