Can any gurus out there take a look at my INI file and tell me if there is anything glaringly not right? I have long load times but not sure if that is SOP for mods.

Nothing strange in the INI file (with the power of your machine you can also enable reflections of objects/trees in water.)

Post your mod list, probably it is due to a mod.

Try also to enable the papyrus logging, and when you reproduce the problem, post the papyrus.log (in case it is a heavy script problem.)

bDisableAllGore=0
iNumHWThreads=10

not sure if its needed?

Do you have a lot of saved games for FO4?  If you do try deleting older saves you no longer need  For some reason deleting older saves will speed up load times.

i'll try that too. I do have some old saves from years ago when the game first came out. I didn't know steam saved them... weird. it DLed when I reinstalled recently.

i'm not so sure this rig is a beast for this game. I "thought" I was building a beast rig and that it would be overkill for this game but even with 2 cards on maxed out settings and the ENB mentioned above I have to turn off DOF to maintain the 60fps. with DOF on it will dip sometimes into the 40s. and the heat... man it really heats up these cards. I have to have a desk fan blowing on it bc I could literally cook an egg on it. is that nermal?

You need to check how many loose files, espcially textures, that you have installed, because these files will drastically increase load time and cause stutter if left uncompressed.

I compressed 25 gb of textures from various texture packs into a BA2 archive, and it shrunk down to 17.1 gb. I compressed even outfit packs such as Gamoholik's. Literally everything is compressed, or at least in BA2 archive in uncompressed format to reduce the need to read thousands of small files.

As for GPU thermals, I think that's pretty normal for an ENB FO4. I'm only on a single 1080 Ti on water, and it usually settles to around 38-41 C after a few hours of gaming. SLI 1080 Ti on air would run pretty high temps.

Live Dismemberment - Increased Headshot Damage

CHOOSE ONLY ONE .esp. Allows mutilation of enemies while they're alive! Also, realistic headshot damage.
