coltontooman Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 hi everyone posting this to ask for some help short and simple i have loose hkx files that seem to be in the wrong place many are in skyrim/data in individual files and then there are others in skyrim/data/meshes/actor/character/animations/ (" animations file name") are these loose ones that seem to be in the wrong spot need to be moved? it seems the creator did no create a proper directory help would be appreciated thanks
SirDuke Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 You can´t answer that with "yes" or "no"... I guess nobody here knows, what hkx files you just found. Basically hkx are animations or poses. They might be wrong there, because the creator did not make a proper folder... They might be right there, because the creator was lazy and never intended a proper folder. They might be right there, because they might replace some common vanilla animations with custom made ones. Do you have any idea, or clue, where these files might came from? Or could you name them? Eventually someone will recognize them... Then you might get a correct answer. (That´s why most of us use Modding tools, to organize our mods, cause issues like that can be avoided)
