Need help with Animation Tools N3

After looking around I found out I had to use this Animation Tools N3 with IK Armature thing to convert a .blend animation file to a .hkx file but I can't get just about any of it to work. In the instructions file I got as far as "Run script (Armature must be selected and in "POSE" mode)" but when I do that I get an error in the console that tells me that the file "skeleton.txt" can't be located,

even though I can see it right there in the same directory as the dummy file.

Also I already finished an animation before finding out I had to use Animation Tools N3 to convert it into a hkx. As in, using the nifs from character meshes in the skyrim data folder, and the N3 blender setup looks very different. Does this mean I have to remake the animation entirely in the N3 blender?

Issues:

- If you get script error when press "RunScript" button, have try to manually write inside script a full path to the file "skeleton.txt" where you unpacked this tools.
(in some cases Blender searches for this file in its installation directory, but not in the project directory as expected)

Hey thanks for the reply, I wasn't expecting one so soon but when I tried to enter the full path into the script this happened instead

Edit: Nevermind I found out it was something to do with \U starting a unicode escape whatever that means, and I had to duplicate each backslash, so now the script is working in the console.

Also is it possible to copy an animation made with .nifs just taken from skyrim's data folders to this new file, or do I have to start over with this one?

Sorry, did not see your answer. You should use "quote" for someone to hear your answer.

Back to the topic:
Unfortunately, I can not really help you.
I use Blender 2.79 but also a completely own body - a middle poly variant with 30.000 vertices on Bodymesh and about 180.000 vertices for other - in the same nif.
Even with the mid-poly body Blender (the scripts) is overwhelmed.

Until 2-3 years ago, I did everything with 3Ds, so it was not a problem.

Blender is great tool for modeling (3ds and mudbox together - Blender is always superior), but for rigging or simple skin with just over a handful of polygons - not really. Nif-Support is ...

Since it is not possible for me (wait 2 hours is not possible for me) - unfortunately I can not help you.

I think Anton is the best contact for you.
