Animations causing ctd on load

As the title says after running fnis for new animations and then running the game it ctd's on load and on qasmoke, however if I remove behavior files related to animation packs and then re run fnis everything is fine.

 

I'm assuming I'm hitting the hard limit of animations for skyrim however on a separate computer I am able to run with no issues, the only discerning difference between computers is the os version my main one being 1709 (1803 will not install without trying to flash my bios) and the other computer is 1703 (though OS version shouldn't be causing a big issue like this).

 

I can attach a load order and a list of the animation packs, but unfortunately a papyrus log will not write (the settings are correct but when it ctds the log is blank, where as when it loads fine it works.)

I know its a large load order,  and I've worked trying to get a bashed patch to reduce it (with no success the patch causes ctd on menu)

however using all the packs doesnt work unless I remove behavior files from the overwrite area in Mod Organizer 2.

 

For example if I try running billy creature 2 or creature furniture I cant use Billy creature and billy Human, and with anubs I can only run one or the other not both even with only those 2 behavior files in the folder its one or the other.

 

I'm certain to some degree the file size plays a part of it.

 

Any help or ideas for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

You basically answered your own question here - you have too many animations causing Skyrim to CTD.  The fact your computers have different results just shows that the issue probably is also somewhat system dependent, and people have reported varying degrees of animation load before they run into issues.  Your "hard limit" is whatever you can load without CTDing and will also depend on your other mods.  Removing the behavior files of a pack is basically the same as uninstalling them as far as FNIS is concerned - that is the file that is required to set up the animations to be used in-game.

 

Your fix is very likely to simply decide what your favorite packs and animation-adding mods are and seeing if you can load with just those packs.  After that you can try adding a few more until you start CTDing again, or just leave them out to leave room for future updates. 

 

Especially remove any animation-adding mods you do not use at all that may be overloading your system needlessly - example if you don't use all of Funnybiz's animations uninstall the packs you don't use, and don't install XPMSE's extra animation packs or .esp if all you want is the skeleton and not the racemenu options for holsters/weapon styles ect.  Also consider downgrading ZAP 8.0+ to ZAP 8 if you aren't actually using any mods that use the furnitures form the + version, assuming you are using that.

I pulled the Legacy animations and a few of the FunnyBizzness animations to cut it down.

ahhh i pulled lagacy too as well as creature pack 1 creature constructes and the human packs except the glory hole i might pull anubs so i can get the fully billy

Im not sure if you have this but.. if this goes above 500 combined, you will CTD and not be able to load. I have a few packs, but the lastest Devious Devices USES a TON of animations! A TON! So you can barely scratch 500 on load with creatures/humans.

zaz too and i have mods that depend on devious so idk
