Wicked Whims actions not working on mac!

I believe that I have downloaded the wicked whims mod correctly and I have downloaded one animation mod. They're all within the mod folder within the sims 4 folder on my mac. I removed the WW folder with the date on/ windows installer in and kept the 'WickedWhimsMod' folder only. I've also experimented with taking all the files out of this folder and having them loose in the main Mod folder. I've also experimented with keeping the WWM folder but moving the Script and Tuning.packing files to the main Mod folder. Nothing has worked so far with any of these methods.

 

In gameplay the mod works up until the action (i.e. sex) is meant to occur. I am able to command my sim to have sex, choose the other sim to do the action with, choose the position from the pop up, my sim asks the other and its accepted. The action however never happens - a WARNING orange message comes up at the side explaining that an error has occurred and an error file is created in the Sims 4 file on my mac. The message advises me the mod might be old/broken??

 

I've tried deleting all the WW and animation files on my mac and re-downloading them again... this hasn't worked. I've tried using ww.fix in the game, this also did not work I only ended up repeating the process above to no avail (it also bugged my sim for a bit = sim was unresponsive).

 

Not really sure what the problem is, would really appreciate some help as I feel like I've tried all the solutions other people have received for the same/similar problem.

 

The only thing that does work during game play is stripping down naked but as for any sex acts nothing has worked so far.
