Running Oldrim and SSE using Mod Organizer?

Recommended Posts

I've decided to revert to Oldrim for my adult playthrough, while sticking to SSE for my main (read: suitable for playing before my 11 year old goes to bed) playthrough. Before I start I thought I'd ask if anyone is running both using MO2 and if there are any pitfalls I need to watch out for - is it safer to download Nexus Oldrim mods manually for example?

Many thanks ❤️

The only problem i have using MO2 for oldrim is FNIS can spit out random error when i 1st start it, ERROR(53): Could not find file 'temporary_logs\Skeleton.xml'. but closing FNIS and restarting it fixes it.

MO2 has some more issues with DD. Mostly installer stuff than can be circumvented, as far as I read it.

MO2 for SSE for sure ..

For LE it's more a bit of taste because all issues can be compensated. Though for the easy run without too much to think about MO1 sounds still the better choice for LE.

But when you are at it, pick the newest version of MO1. Funny thing is it's to be found on the MO2 pageon the nexus .. just scroll down a bit :classic_blink:
