I am looking to expand my knowledge base for using the GECK, and bethesda's tutorial is confusing as crap. Anyone know of any good, simple guides for things like navmeshing?

There's nothing "simple" about nav meshing.. The beth tutorial on that is really the best one there is in a web type format -- if a/v learning is more your speed, I think there are a few on youtube.

Problem is, Beth's tutorial states right at the top that features described therein were disabled in the release version of GECK, unless I misunderstood what I was reading (which is possible, I'd been awake for @20 hours at the time). I'll take another look when I get home.

Automatic navmesh generation is disabled, you need to build them by hand. The level building tutorial for the GECK goes over how to do that.

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. And the lesson we learn is, don't play with GECK while half asleep.
