WickedWhims options broke after the game update.

This has never happened to me before, so I'm hoping someone on these forums can help. After the game update I downloaded this morning, I no longer have any WickedWhims options available anywhere when I click on anything in game. I deleted WW and reinstalled everything. Every time I load a save, I immediately see a last exception error and don't really know how to read them, so I'm hoping someone here knows how.

i have the same issue! ive tried everything and nothing work.. maybe the mod needs to be fixed?

Same happened to everyone who got the update today. I have also opened a thread on the Technical Support branch. Well, it seems like only an update from WW might fix the situation.

 

Also, try to edit your post by writing the Name of the 'lastException' file and link it to the 'pastebin' upload of its content, so whoever tries to solve it, will know the file name

I also have the same issue. I removed all other mods and cc, restarted the game without them and only whicked whims as a mod. the last exception file still showed up. I even deleted all whicked whims files, updated whicked mod to july 3 version and still got the last exception file, everything was working fine until the sims update. here is my file: https://pastebin.com/3NeiyVHf

Okay, so after reading everything everyone else has posted about this issue I feel a little better knowing it is not just my game. I have also tried removing mods, removing wicked whims etc and nothing works. Huge bummer. I keep getting (lastexception.txt). Here is my file: https://pastebin.com/aDeSYZza

Hey Y'all!  This is not unusual when the game has a big update for a new expansion pack. (especially one as big as the Seasons update) I'm sure there are a ton of script changes for the new game and that means everything has changed for the mods that run via overrides to the script files.  Just be patient and I'm sure Turbo will have a hot-fix out ASAP.  Deaderpool already has a hot-fix out for Mc Comand Center, and Basemental Drugs is working on a fix for that mod as well.

Turbo will release the update when he gets around to it.  The patreon version is an early release.  The LL version will come when it comes.

This has happened every time the game has updated and will continue to happen with each update.  Have patience.
