Problems with MatchMaker SE

Now I'm having a new problem with my mods. I have Sexlab Matchmaker SE installed and when I try using the spells on anything that isn't humanoid, I get the text in the top left corner "Your spell fizzles and fails to affect actor." It seems that when I try fixing it, more and more things are able to "resist" the spell. It's getting to be rather annoying and I hope that someone has a fix for it. I've tried re-installing the mod, disabling other mods and I was going to try and use the oldrim mod until I found out I'd have to open the esp in CK (I have no clue how to use it.) It used to work perfectly before I installed more SL mods but even when I deactivate them or delete them it doesn't work on creatures anymore. Here is my PC specs if these could have something to do with it

 

AMD FX-4350 Quad Core 4.20 GHz

16 GB RAM

GTX 1050 TI 4GB

Windows 10 Pro 64Bit

Creatures are not really supported by the spell. There are also not many creature animations included in SL Light.

I also have the "More Nasty Critters" mod installed. What should I use for creatures? And should I switch over to the Sexlab Beta?

Not SL Light... You have to switch over to the 1.63Beta and then you can choose between a lot of ways to do nasty things with nasty creatures. There you can use the old Matchmaker (The SSE version was only made for SL light) or even mass match maker to do more nasty things with even more nasty creatures.

mass matchmaker does NOT support most creatures.

Don't I have to open the oldrim version in Creation Kit to convert the matchmaker to SSE standards?

Will not be so important for those two, even on the long term. I read a lot about this: fact is, Weather a mod breaks or not, is depending on a little bit more than the header. If it is good it will also run fine without resaving, If it is bad, it will stay bad, even if you resave it. And resaving it may cause more trouble, than running it as it is. I have ported enough mods so far and got along without it quite good. When it comes to an official release it is a different thing for me. I didn't do it for the SLAL packs I have uploaded here to keep them inofficial until the authors take the SE part under their own control, for the Devious Devices mods and the ZAZ packages I resaved the ESM'S. But I also send the untouched ESM with the packs as an emergency backup.

I also have to say: If all ppl would follow install instructions, read me's and guides as strict, as they follow this resaving thing, this world would be a much better place for all modders.

At least it will not fizzle that often... BTW: Is there someone who might take over that stuff? And maybe Eager NPC's.?

I would say for SE they are most popular at the moment... Ever heard of problems with MNC and FNIS Zoo?

more like CF and zoo, having all the creatures in the game load at the same time in one area can overload CF's cloaking script and cause a Papyrus dump.

HentaiCreatures is a much better option.

Could it be that behavior files get overwritten with it? It seems a bit strange to me that after the installation less creatures are registered in FNIS than before...But I'm done with converting an testing for today...

i don't see any conflicting behavior file names so i have no clue what would cause that to happen.

but i do see some suspicious looking files called "x - xml.bat" and "CreatureList.txt" in "Data\Meshes\actors\"

How about making a port tomorrow and asking Fore if I could release it as long as he has not done an SE version?

Try a new game.  Sometimes a simlpe clean save is not enough. if it works try to clean up yourclean save with fallrim tools. I'm off for now...Best wishes.

Sadly that didn't work either. Thanks for the help though :) I'll try to find something on google

 

Edit: Oooooookay. I found the problem. For some reason the translation files didn't transfer and was messing up the menu. I went through and fixed it

 

Edit2: Yes! Downloading the Beta also fixed a problem with one of my other mods. Thanks again!
