Musje Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 I'm converting some of my mods to use FOMod to manage the installation a bit better. XML files are below never mind, this forum wont display the XML correctly The strange thing is: when I install Home Sweet Home in NMM and then Aygas, it thinks the second mod is an update of the first one and prompts me to overwrite or upgrade: "A different version of Home Sweet Home in already installed. Installing version 0.50, installed version 1.18". if I install them the other way around, the same thing happens. Why is this?
CGi Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Make sure that the mods name/title differs in ModuleConfig.XML and info.XML.

But they both started with "PAH - ", and as it turns out NMM stops reading the name at the dash. After removing that, it is able to distinguish between the 2 mods.
CGi Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 NMM, Vortex and MO ignore everything after a dash, treating it like a sub title. Usually usefull if modders use proper names like this: MyMod - Main MyMod - Dawnguard Support MyMod - Patch V08.15 This way everything is merged into one mod, replacing when needed.
