Looking for lighting tips

I'm looking for something to make the game less gloomy. I'm not sure if I should be looking for an ENB, some kind of weather mod, a lighting mod, or a combination.

I suggest and ENB and a texture pack that adds some life back to the world. A weather mod will help if all it does is rain in your game as it will help make it a bit more random.
