merryMalfunctioning Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Creation Club content has been getting progressively better, and I've found myself picking up a few packs. And now there's an interesting CC mod by Elianora, whose work is amazing. So question: do CC mod authors get a percentage of the sales of a mod, or do they get paid a lump sump for making the mod? If it's a percentage, I would definitely be more inclined to buy mods by creators like Elianora.
ralfetas Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 No, they are freelances not partners. Bethesda pays them one time and them is bethesda property. This is what i read everywhere, if i am wrong someone correct me please. And that's why i don't buy CC stuff, and because 90% of the stuff there is crap, and because don't make sense pay 5 dollars for a gun and a full DLC cost 25 dollars.
Carreau Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 100% of CC content has a better counterpart on the Nexus IMHO.
