About This File
Â
This mod replaces the Ring of Masser with a new unique model, reflecting its origin.
Â
In the fomod installer you can choose between the following options:
- Replacer
- LotD Replacer
- Standalone
Â
1) Replacer version:
Simply replaces the ring from the CC with a new model, nothing more.
Requires CC: Alternate Armors - Daedric Mail
Â
2) LotD Replacer version:
Replaces the LotD versions with the new model, and adjusted the displayed version slightly
Warning: If you install this mid playthrough where you already visited the hall where the ring is displayed, it might not use the slight adjustments I had to make in order to have the ring on a nice display.
My recommendation is to only use it on a savegame where you have never visited that hall, or a completely fresh game.
If you must keep your savegame: You have to wait until the cell resets (don't go there for 31 days) or reset it via console with the commandÂ
resetinterior DBMDGHallofWondersCC
Again: I do not recommend this, and you use it at your own risk!
Requires CC: Alternate Armors - Daedric Mail and LotD Creation Club Hub
3) Standalone version
You are able to buy a left-hand ring as well as a right-hand ring from Ahkari, the Khajiit caravan merchant who travels between Riften and Dawnstar. Make sure to visit her when her camp is set up, otherwise she might not sell the rings. The rings are called "Moon Ring" and are just like any other ring in the game, so you can enchant them.
For easy identification in the menus: The right-hand version is slightly tilted upwards, while the left-hand version is tilted downwards, as it is for all my mods.
This version does not require anything!
Â
LE Implementation:
CC content is not available for LE, therefore it only is a standalone version, same as the Standalone version for SE.
Â
- mods which edit the same item (given you use one of the replacer versions)
Â
- run fomod and make your choices
- activate the mod

Thanks to Bethesda for creating Skyrim.
