Santa Muerte is a Lore friendly way to get a number of resurrections once you get the Relic. V is revived at least twice in a vanilla game, why not a little more. It includes options to wake up in a ripper, or left for dead in random places, and the possibility of being robbed.

It comes with a companion mod, Diverse Death Screens, that adds a list of random effects to the screen when you die.

This year Santa Muerte received many bug fixes, and an optional removal of Cyberware at some unsafe locations.

The big update this year was the addition of Soul Killer - a Permadeath add-on to Santa Muerte. Not a full hardcore permadeath yet unfortunately, but annoying enough to make the last resurrection count.
