SwapTimer - Skill Progression Patch (SwapTimerAbilities) (discontinued)) 1.2.0

2 Screenshots

----

WHAT IT DOES:

It alters the skill-progression in your swapped form in SwapTimer.

The main goal is to make the dragonborne 'feel' unaccustomed to their swapped form.

It's display in heavy skill debuffs that get progressively less the higher the players level gets and they cease fully at level 40.

MECHANICS

Spoiler

-Skills-

At level 1 the players skills are all debuffed to 15 in your swapped form.

Gained skill levels while being swapped get carried over while those gained in the non-swapped form get a debuff, which lessens by 1 for each gained player-level.

(Example: So say i got 31 one-handed while being non swapped, am level 6 and gained 2 of those levels while being swapped

-> i'd have a skill of 22 in my swapped form: 31(non swapped)-16(debuff)+5(gained levels)+2(gained skillevel in swapped form)=31-9=22

-Health-

The players additional health gains through level up are reduced to 5 instead of 10 when they swap into the swapped form.

Additionally each gained level is one less health-point debuffed through this method.

-Carryweight-

Carryweight inside the swapped form is reduced to 40.

(I did some math and that i think would be around the weight someone untrained could actually wear in combat without being over encumbered. No 150 cheesewheels)

I know that carryweight basically represents the stuff you are stashing inside your backpack/have quick access to, but i always thought 300 carryweight made potion load-out and heavy weapons/armor kinda trivial.

The carryweight debuff of 260 is lessened by 2 each level.

If you find this limit inconvenient i recommend using the steed stone perk (displayed in the pictures) or simply grab Lydia to load off your stuff off during being swapped.

Or just adventure while being in your non-swapped form.

Or level stamina (gains through that are not affected).

-Reaching Level 40-

At level 40 none of your skills get debuffed in your swap-form anymore. It represents the dragonborne basically reaching such mastery in a plethora of skills that they shouldn't have any difficulty adapting.

BUGS

I really hope there are no major bugs when reaching high levels.

I did some field testing at lower levels and the math seems to work, but more playtesting is needed.

Feedback is always welcome!

What's next:

-Add mcm option/customizability

-add an option to have smaller debuffs in the time leading up to the swap
