About This File

Summary:

This mod introduces short event chains that trigger when the player defeats one of the female Legendary Lords (LL). There are three event levels per LL. The purpose of this mod is to add an in-game friendly way to give traits that apply Slaanesh Corruption to the LL's that offset their natural anti-corruption mechanics.

There is also an optional confederation submod. Both mods are required for the confederation function to work correctly.

Note: This mod is intended to be used with a Slaanesh faction, but by popular demand it will work with any faction. Including the female lords.

Key Features:

Triggering the Events:

  • Defeat one of the female LL's with any army belonging to your faction.
  • It should work with played and auto-resolve battles.
  • If you make one of the LL's a vassal or confederate them then the events will progress at the start of every turn. The event text is different than if you have defeated the lord in battle, but more basic. Defeating the LL's is the intended mechanic.
  • There is no cooldown.

 

Trait Info:

  • All traits apply increased Slaanesh corruption to the defeated LL, with the amount increasing every level.
  • The corruption amount is tailored for each LL.
  • At level 3, you have the option to apply or decline a "Harem" trait. The bonus applies a faction-wide Slaanesh corruption & a diplomatic relations buff between all supported factions. The bonuses are balanced around the LL remaining a vassal.
  • Some lords have additional unique traits, such as Alarielle to offset her 'Power of Nature' or Miao Yings faction-wide -2 corruption.

Confederation Submod:

  • Requires the core mod to work.
  • Adds a background counter for each lord. Every victory in battle adds one point. Once they are made a vassal they will also gain one point per turn.
  • If the specific legendary lord is a vassal, and you have eight or more points you will be prompted to confederate them or leave them as a vassal.


Compatibility:

  • Currently the defeat events won't trigger on characters that use multiple corruption stages, such as Lazy's Miao or Kat. However, the subjugation events will still trigger if either of those two are made vassals/confederated. I may eventually fix this conflict in the future.

Released

Victories
- Added new vassalized fluff text to be more narrative.
- Changed the Harem diplomacy buff from 66->150. I underestimated just how much some of them hate each other. I'm looking at you, Alarielle the intolerant.
- Fixed some Khalida's text typos.
- Fixed an error with Maio's unique Harem trait.


Confederation
- Added a feature to delay the confederation decision by 5 turns.
- Changed the points needed for the confederation dilemma from 6->8. Essentially this means it will take two turns longer for the dilemma to appear.
- Fixed some Khalida's & the Sisters confederation event text typos.
- Fixed a conflict with the main mod which was preventing description text from showing.

Does the mod have any conflicts? I havent gotten a single of the events for any of the LL's listed. Or does using any of the corruption progression mods from Lazy make all of them not work? Or could it be the load order? The files for this mod are the lowest in the load order. Would appreciate any help you could provide, i'm at my wits end ^^"

No event pop up :(, clean campaign, no other mods

despite victories log reads:

Honestly the only issue i have is the fact that sometime if you lose a wanted faction, it's over for some of them. For example in my game. The sister of twilight died a long while ago and i can't revive them, therefore i can't have them. This also happened to me for Morathi where i was unable to reawaken them, i had to go back several save to make sure i confederate them. if there was a way to bring them back without the need of commands, it would be cool.

I can't seem to get the mod to work too. Can someone please tell if it still works for you, so I can know if the fault is on my end?

 

 

Edit: Found out the problem. The mod is, sadly, not compatible with "The Old World" but "Slaanesh Expanded - Vassal Dilemmas" is.

a problem is that for many factions that cannot conquer territory correctly, for example wood elfs and beasts, this mod cannot work because I cannot make those factions a vassal.

it has been for me, I believe it just works off a defeat trigger then adds traits to the defeated female lord, so adding new stuff shouldn't affect it too badly

If I have one crituqe it's that it does not seem to work for beastmen since they can't naturally vasselize...which fair enough but you think outside of Slaanesh they'd be the most thematic fit.

Hello. Im playing this mod as Azazel with the myaoying alarielle etc... collection in the wiki, I have kislev vassalized and Im trying to confederate them but it doesn´t give me the option. This is the log which I have read in the comments that is supposed to be working correctly: "kat's defeat count has reached the limit of 7. No further increments."  My mod list has slanesh vassals pack, slanesh victories pack and slanesh victories confederations pack in that order. I chose the option that says choose this if you are going to confederate later and i get the normal events that give you souls and what not regulary but nothing about confederation, does someone know why?

A suggestion regarding that Neferatta will be in the game this year (hopefully).

 

Perhaps it would be worth trying to find a way to unlock seductive influence on Undead/Tomb Kings to have it work better for Khalida and Neferatta.

First, I would like this mod to be included in the "Lazy's Corruption" Steam lists . Interaction with the mod Lord Hero Swap for more general features such as retention and combat branches for confederate characters. I really don't have much, free maintenance of archers, especially for Bretonnia! The only place where this is interesting to play is Kislev.

I need to use commands to recruit them after confederating? They get a 5 turns injury when I confederate and when the ready for action message appears I still can't recruit them.

been playing this Ok as the Masque.

Some Lords dont have full mount options though: Morathi has none, Sisters of Twilight dont get their none-mount summon, etc.

 

Ive seen this issue before with other conderate mods, I believe they found a fix, so Author might be able to fix it if he ever returns to this mod.

when it says in the description "Requires the core mod to work." but is also says "There is also an optional confederation submod. Both mods are required for the confederation function to work correctly." does that mean this has a dependency in order to work and if so where can I find it, or can I run this independently?

It is required for the submod @n_SlaaneshVictories_Confederations.pack

I mean both will work just fine and do their thing, but there's no interactivity shared between the mods.
