Plutocene Imagepack for Dark World Reborn (DWR)

V. 0.13

What it is:
This is a submod for DWR that replaces the event pictures for several DWR event-chains with custom made pictures as well as some vanilla graphics utilizing Stable Diffusion.

Why u need it:

Dewguru has been updating DWR consistently, the image department however is severly lacking in quality, consistency and artistic expression.

I was appalled by them for years. Thus, I decided to use this as a project to learn Stable Diffusion in order to replace the most common offenders.

Details, details...

This mod covers the spouse, courtier, bathing beauty, corn thieves, fisherman's wife, raid, slave, and pregnancy events replacing the corresponding pictures. As DWR is a huge mod with over 1.000 event pictures, I focus on the events that I encounter during gameplay, in particular the ones with the hightest frequency. I generally play without fictional content, thus this mod currently covers only non-fictional conent. There is still significant headroom for improvement in quality and consistency and a substantional number of events to cover, i. e. brothel. I also might have missed some event-chain variants. Report if that is the case by specifying the event, ideally provide a screenshot and if you have the diligent, kind or lustful trait, also provide the name of the image file, located in dark world reborn\gfx\event_pictures, to save me some time.

Installation:

Just like any other mod, place the .zip file in the CK2 mod-folder, extract the descriptor file. Activate the mod in the game menu.

Special Thanks:

Dewguru for consulting
