Twitch - FO4 - Winter

Had already gone back to FO4 to work on the sharks, so I thought I could give the foxes another shot while at it. Ended up creating a brand new Vulpine girl, and a Fennec at that, inspired by the upcoming release of the Desert Fox skin for the race (my favorite from the FNV version). It isn't out yet, though, so in the meantime she'll have to be a light-skinned furred red fox instead.

(Nickname unrelated to the streaming service, I just wanted to go for something based on her constantly moving her ears around, but "Flick" didn't have as much of a ring to it).

This photoshoot wasn't actually meant to be a photoshoot, I was just trying out a custom outfit mashup I made for her in combination with a winter season mod and it looked too good to not take pics. Thus, the (inital) lack of skin fur being shown, the focus on the environment and the outfit itself more than on her, and the not-particularly-great quality of the whole posing setup. Oh, well.

This is her in her default winter/jacket outfit:

"Combat" variant of said outfit (and some action shots):

And some spicy pics, because why not. As for why she's walking around in the snow wearing a bikini (or nothing at all), well... she's a desert fox, so she has the warmth inside of her. Or something. I just wanted to have some eye-candy, lol.

Just to start off! fabulous photoshoot as always Blaze! great pozing along with clothing choice. but one question, what jacket is that? you always seem to have some of the most down to earth clothing on your characters.

Thanks! Glad you liked it, that's why I posted it in the first place.

Good question.

The jacket mesh and textures you see there are from a mashup I found somewhere a while back, but the original source was a different outfit that included the same jacket with a different texture. Unfortunately the mashup didn't have any readme or info on the original, and while I think I managed to get a lead on which mod it could be looking at the folder names, all the links I could find to said candidate mod were dead, so I still don't know if it was that one indeed.

As for the mashup itself, IIRC it was called "Tactical Schoolgirl" or something like that, and l found it either in GUNetwork or in the FO4 mod sharing channel of the /r/modpiracy Discord. I'm afraid that's as much info as I can provide because I downloaded it a while back and all I know is the file was stored alongside a bunch of other stuff I got from those two sources.

Alternatively, may I suggest checking out the Division outfit here in LL? It has a pretty neat jacket as well that is easy to mix with other clothes with some xEdit/Outfit Studio work. In fact the arm patch with the unit badge you see in the pics comes from there (though it has a custom texture).

Yeah, I always try to get good outfits for my characters. Thanks for noticing.

I'm a huge fan of modern-ish looking clothes that are practical and/or comfortable, that's why I prefer pants instead of skirts and hoodies or sports bras instead of, I dunno, corsets or lace lingerie or whatever. So not only do they make them look more down-to-earth, they also make them more attractive for me, lol. Win-win. :classic_tongue:

I'm pretty sure it was there, check the FO4 mod sharing channel on their Discord (the one from the group at the bottom of the channels list). The link to the discord itself is on the reddit sidebar, but you may have to use old.reddit.com to get it to show up.

May be misremembering the actual file name so just go through the posts there and see if you can spot it. IIRC there was a pic alongside the download link so that should make it easier to find it. Do note I downloaded it a while ago so it may be gone, though (but I hope not).

EDIT: just checked, it's still there. You'll have to scroll up a fair bit (link was posted around April) and find the MEGA link with a pic of a character using the Nanakochan Anime Race and wearing the jacket under a black plate carrier.

You and me both, brother. The page design looks straight out of the 90's and it even feels like it was made to be as obnoxious as humanly possible, lol. Not sure how they expect to engage any users when just browsing the page makes you wanna gouge your eyes out. :classic_dodgy:

Ok cool i found it. no wonder it was so hard to find! they aren't labeled. Also yes that website is on my personal s**t list for design alone. it's near the top of said list for different reasons tho but i wont get into that.

The mod itself is just that one outfit, which you'll have to obtain using the Ingame ESP Explorer mod or with console commands (in case you want to try it out). If you want the jacket alone as showcased in my pics, you'll have to get the assets out of the mod files and then do some work in xEdit/NifSkope/Outfit Studio to get it to work like that.
