Game Freak are lazy

Just an entry to moan about Game Freak since I downloaded Hacker's Memory (a sort of sequel to Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth) and its reminded me how much better the Cyber Sleuth games are than any pokemon game. As we all know Game Freak are culling the pokedex for gen 8 (known online as "Dexit") and aren't doing anything ingame to justify it, the pokemon still have the same old (shitty) models and still have fuck all in the way of animations in comparison to the Cyber Sleuth games (yes there are 3X more pokemon than there are Digimon in Hacker's Memory but that's no excuse) where the devs ADDED more digimon to the game and each digimon's model is more detailed than each pokemon's and they each have multiple animations (1-2 for special attacks, 1 regular attack, 1 support, 1 victory, 1 death, 1 getting hit, 1 idle and their walking animations not to mention Wormmon in Hacker's Memory got additional animations) and you can have up to 3 digimon following you at any one time (your "active" digimon since you have a party of 11) Game Freak axed following pokemon by the way. On top of that they got rid of Mega evolution (an interesting mechanic that they fucked up but could still have been used to make some pokemon better) and Z-Moves (a stupid mechanic but still gave you more options) in favour of Dynamaxing (literally it just gets bigger) and yet the games still look like shit, for reference the Cyber Sleuth games where developed for the PSVita which is less powerful than the switch and yet they still look better than these current gen pokemon games.

Sorry for the rant but I needed to get this out of my head, been dwelling on it for most of my shift. Honestly nintendo need to take pokemon off game freak and either do the games themselves or give them to another studio (either monolith soft or platinum) because game freak are fucking up more and more with each release.
