2. It is a test to see if saving, but not immediately publishing or scheduling a publishing time for a blog post breaks notifications.

So what I'm doing now is I'm editing this entry, but changing to publish time to "immediately".  I did this for my previous blog, Dealing in Silver.  Curiously, despite being almost two days old at the time, it didn't start getting likes from most of the regulars until right after I did that.  So either they weren't online until right then, or they didn't receive a notification until I changed the publishing time.

I don't mean for this to sound like it's about the likes.  It's about making sure the people who follow my blog and presumably want to see my stuff are seeing it, and likes are my best indicator of that.  So if you received a notification about this entry at or after 2:03 pm EST on June 8th, let me know.  If saving and publishing a blog later is causing issues, and changing the publish time on edit to "immediately" fixes it, I'd very much like to know for future reference.
