Some Progress in Learning

Storms of Superior

I started building the mod that I was going to title GitcheGumee's Trading Post. I decided to change the title over the past few days.

Among the things I have accomplished so far are: building the exterior of the house and back yard work area. I placed all of the crafting objects except the smelter. I need to remember the smelter for future updates, but I'll admit, it is useless now.

I have chosen a vanilla house to serve as the HQ for the trading post. I tried to link the interior to the exterior of the house, but, so far, the youtube tutorials either haven't cover the process as it's done this way, or I have been unable to maintain a stable internet connection to be able to finish watching them. I started getting tired, so I decided to quit before I ruined everything I worked to build tonight (hard lesson learned once).

Overall, I am pleased with my progress in learning, and, while I expected more so far, I am not disappointed.

I plan to release the mod as a WIP after I complete the house outside of Whiterun. I hope for useful feedback.

Again, here is the document outlining some of what I hope to accomplish with this mod.

Have fun folks, and bring some humor to Skyrim.

The way you have described this, it looks like a huge project or a trivial one.

I imagine you will need to learn quite a bit about how to do things before you can really get started.

Good luck!

True about the learning process, but I don't intend to have this (even the small WIP part) published next week.

I can do that much quickly enough once I find the right tutorials (it is just a small business property right now), but it won't be rushed. I want every detail to be accounted for before I share it for feedback.

Anyway, thanks for jumping into the conversation.

And one question; did you download the MS Word outline? I'm not asking you to download it (I respect others' ability to choose whether or not to do such things), but I would like to know, among those who join the conversation, who has read that.

Thanks again.
