So due to some RL stuff, I won't be posting much in the next couple of weeks. This isn't really a change from my usual inconsistent schedule, so you, the end reader, won't really notice any change.

But I damn sure will!

It got me to thinking, though. I should do something, set something up so that when I get back online, I'll have some stuff to read and so will you. And it hit me, the perfect idea...

So, have you ever started a fresh toon, spent time on his or her face, coordinated an outfit, and at the end of it all just kinda felt... meh, about them? Like whatever idea you had just isn't coming through in the end product? Maybe the design drifted from the concept, maybe the outfit you wanted had some odd conflicts with other parts of it, or maybe you just weren't feeling it anymore by the end. I don't know if it's ever happened to any of you, but it's happened to me plenty of times.

So, starting the 27th and ending September 2nd, you'll get a blog a day with at least one screenshot and a brief blurb about some of my "false start" characters. Who knows, maybe an idea or design will inspire someone else, or perhaps the concept of false-start characters will spark some conversation? I'm curious to see what the comments will look like when I get back!

Fair warning, almost all of these shots are pre- me having an ENB, so expect the quality to reflect that. Though in fairness, at least one of the characters I'm featuring predates Skyrim ENBs as a thing, so... yeah.
