Synopsis: Pandora Vellucci arrives in the desert city of Rudra with her bodyguard, Zoe: Steadfast model 101. Eager to prove to her family back in Omi City that she can strike out on her own and find antiquities of glory. Zoe reminds her of the dangers of Rudra as it is far less civilized than her privileged zone she lives in. If anything were to happen to Pandora it would bring great shame on the Reki Corporation. Pandora only laughs at the idea, Rudra is well known for their hospitality.

Meeting up with a merchant in the middle of the city, Pandora asks to see the book in his possession. She had spent months looking for lead on a relic in this part of the world. Revealing the book it was the text she was looking for. It was a tome written during the Sekhemtek Dynasty with the location of ancient burial grounds. But the text was in a language she could not understand and parts of the pages were blank. A friend of the merchant just so happens to overhear, Farooq Daystar. He offers to help Pandora with the book as he is familiar with such texts. Smiling, she handed over the book and Farooq saw the problem. A special ink is needed to reveal the missing letters and offered to show them were to find more.

Zoe again advises caution, but Pandora is too excited to listen. What are the chances they would find someone that could help them so quickly? Following Farooq for an hour they come to an empty part of the city. Looking over at Zoe, Pandora apologizes for not listening to her before as she now has a bad feeling about Farooq. He eyes her like a wolf stares at a sheep. Zoe reassures her that whatever happens she will protect her right as they walk into Farooq’s trap.
