Alright, first blog post of April, here we go!
I'm finally beginning to cement some of the story to the point that it will allow me to add in far more to it later, without creating too much work for myself so that 1.0 will never come out. (Funny story, thought about making an "I quit" post on April 1st, but decided against it because I'm boring like that.) However, there are a few key problems that are preventing me from getting much further right now.
No specifics, so as to not spoil the story though. Basically, the hardest choices will be to decide when Tigras will begin speaking with the player. I'm thinking I will avoid voicing him for now, until I've decided exactly how I want it to proceed. Anyways, just a couple of updates that will be important for you guys to know.
A fresh save will be required. I've changed so much in this update that it is completely necessary to do so, otherwise problems will probably show up.
Also going to move all of my important scripts over to their own quest that "contains" them, so that way I'm not stuck with just one quest and its limitations. While this isn't important right now, it will be in the future.
I have also come to the decision to limit the player's choice in rejecting Tigras. Basically, you will need to decide whether or not to keep on going with the quest after the very first parts. (Which is when it makes the most sense to do so.) Of course, there will be a MCM option that will still force shut down everything, if necessary.
In addition to this, ears and tail might just make their way into 1.0. Not sure yet, but the time that they are added is growing ever closer.
As of right now, there aren't any new master requirements yet. However, I've heard that Beeing Female may be releasing soon, so if it comes out before my 1.0 update (which is a pretty good possibility), I'll definitely bee (heh, see what I did there?) working on it. So yeah, who knows, the player might just find themselves knocked up next update, we'll see.
Anyways, I'm actively working on things today, so I would be watching this post closely because I'll be putting any additions to what I have to say now in the comments.
