So much lore, so many implications.

Akatosh pulls of that unquestionable divine asshole role really well, and I'm glad the Worldeater gets the narrative respect he deserves.

With the last time that it happened, does Sheo refer to the first hard reset? Interesting that right before that, the princes were discussing the possibility of a being that can alter timelines, turns out they were thinking of Akatosh.

That does imply that the Princes generally don't remember the hard resets, will they and the Divines remember this reset? Will Mara remember just how hard she got owned?

So all 4 of the major support cast gets to keep their memories, but they are scattered and physically out of reach? I like that. It gives them something to do and plan for, and they don't have to just wait around for asshole's return. Arlan still has to find them, but won't have to wrestle with implications of returning memories from a different timeline.

Is there a specific plane of Oblivion that Arlan is currently disgracing with his presence, or is it not really important where specifically he is? Wonder how he will get out. You mention that Arlan will get new rules added to his condition from now on. Is it because Akatosh rewrote the rules on him, or because he now has to spend years in the realms of Daedra and it influences him?

Would've felt wrong not to give him an entrance, when it comes to timelines he's the aspekt that finluences the end or, in this case, make sure there are no lose ends that may break Akatosh's changes to it. I like the idea that Alduin's existence isn't only for destruction

Yes exactly. ^^ I thought it would be a grand thing to mention this, so it is not just an asspull as it happened before with the reason for that Reset not known to use because our main characters there had nothing to do with it and were unknowingly reset like every normal person in Nirn.

Since it is a soft reset of just a few years and Akatosh will change not the entire history but aspekts of it, the idea is that they have the potential to remember. Sheo, Sanguine and dibella as an exception since these three will be protected by Sheo's sheme. So yes Mara "can" remember it but she has to activly try. Can be something that happens someway or another inside the story later when the gods make an apperance again. (I like them. It's not so much their viewing party but the dynamik between Aedra and Daedra where there is some visible dislike and like between them, but not on a level where they fight (Since it would be meaningless anyway.) But I haven't shown the real "bad" Daedra yet so that could be different for them. (Molag  Bal who's sphere as, at least to my knowing, not a single positive quality.

YES! Exactly what I came up with to make it smoother and less irritating. Characters that are potentially important but never had much of an impact until now can be reintreduced, these 4 who're so important so so many characters and changed a few events to the better are now, what I would call, regressors like in the comics and especially Harald and Lapis can find each other willingly (And in Harald's case may chose to stop specific things from happening before they can. ) This way we can clean up some older polotlines that had a clear ending without Asshole being there. I am talking about the Windhelm Arc especially since that's where Lapis and he meet originally.

(And the idea of Harald having to rely on Maari's age for 4 years while he's used to be the one being relyed on by her is adorable.)

This is were I am limited tbh. There are not many planes I could use and the mod I am using for it made it out to be a nightmarish souls game like wasteland. There are only 2 planes that come to mind that fit this but there's also the potential of having it to be it's own realm without a ruler. I won't decided it until I know for sure how to play this out best. (For the original mod said it's cold harbor but I have a clear picture of Molag Bal and his view on Arlan and it's too favorable for him to suffer in his realm, but that exactly might be the reason why he will have a hard time, molag bal is like that afterall 🤔.

Something of both tbh. Akatosh will do something to his remaining soul to try to restrict him in specific locations. It won't be impossible for him to go there, but it will be inconvinient for him (In a few ways~) 

And Arlan having to spend years in the world where his powers come from will have an impact on the daedruc vestige parts of his being. Most Daedra have to fuller rules on Nirn like being able to be bound by strong enough mortals or spells that have enhanced power over them (I am thinking of like Banishment, Artifacts made to fight daedra and probs a few D&D spells I want to copy into the story. )

So Mara will finally get a way to fight him without having to resort to this extreme measure again. 

(it also gives him an actual reason to try to keep some people around to help with these problems.)

What I am also going to do is lift his magic bann. I figure with these debuffs he could be able to learn useful magic now without fearing him to become too much of a mary sue

(Well at least being able to use 2 schools of magic would be okay now I think. 🤔)

Well, Coldharbour is an option, but it comes with its difficulties. Being liked by Molag Bal isn't necessary a good thing for Arlan, but it really can go multiple ways. The main issue is that Molag is almost certain to get involved in some way, and I don't know if direct interaction with something like that right now is good for the story. 

And Molag might like Arlan, but would Arlan like Molag? Arlan might know what he is, but Molag Bal can be so much worse. The Tormentor of Men is the type to think it would be funny to shapeshift one of Coldharbour's victims into Maari just to get a reaction out of Arlan. I think Molag Bal is the type of character that works best if he's used seriously and in small doses, similar to Alduin.

There is an option for story development there in Coldharbour though. Molag is the Father of Vampires, so his visit there might start up his search of the Pale One again (I think that was his name?).

My personal vote would go to the Deadlands of Mehrunes Dagon. Not only does it contain the fire, brimstone, and storm aesthetic, it's filled with the more direct kind of violence. And having Arlan get his ass kicked can be more flexible for the story.

Does Arlan fit that Realm? I'd argue he does. Dagon is the Prince of Change, and Arlan does force change where ever he goes. Probably the cleanest example is with the fairy tale stories the last couple of chapters. He didn't want to follow the rules of the Divines, he rebelled against the system, and the trials had to change for him. It might not be as directly violent or destructive as Dagon's usual methods (though Arlan can be both), but it is change.

Arlan also hasn't been on Dagon's radar yet, at least not that we have seen, and it's unlikely that Dagon would directly interfere when Arlan's there.

Plus, Sheo mentioned that he sealed Akatosh for Martin earlier. That entire thing was ultimately caused by Dagon. Akatosh could throw the problem of Arlan in Dagon's lap just for the Divine Pettiness.

Of course, it could also be one of the many planes and pockets in Oblivion that don't belong to a Prince. Advantage there is that you can make the place exactly like you want.

The real funny thing is that it's actually the Wabbajack who could do it xD Rose never had the power to shapeshift someone, the Jack however, has (the chance is just higher to be turned into a chicken.. xD)

Yeah well.. The best part is that 3 of them will be together when we're back. Ironical it is Arlan who is missing right now and it is Arlan who's not with them in the reset. 

Lucky or unlucky for him I already began the next chapter in his POV.. (And I kinda feel bad for him rn oO)

Did I mention I can make Followers now thanks to Coldsun's new App? I now can make guys without fucking Arlan's face up.. I Already made harald and several other men into followers. Need to wait for some makeup and eye mods to be included to make women &Arlan tho.. Probably will never do a lot (My game would explode.. xD) Things are looking good

You're right about Coldharbour in all aspects. Bal is a way too big of a player to have him now, even in small portions he is too much to handle at the beginning and he's best fittet so only be used as a deity for his followers like Necromancers and vamps, instead of him having an active role. 

Also absolutly right about his treatment of Arlan.. This on top of the years in oblivion is too much and I would be unable to make him like he is supposed to be again.

That's also a good point. I think Arlan fears Bal, not because it is Molag bal but because Arlan is Arlan and there is a very thin line that separates their respective evilness.

Mofo knows he is not a good person but he would never go over some lines, Molag Bal represents what Arlan might become if he ever loses his remaining good traits. 

(I mean that and that some of his daedric aspects are directly coming from Molag, his need to dominate that comes through ever so often during sex.)

Yeah his name is pale one. (But I have to find him again in my folders before I even consider letting him out of Oblivion.) 

And he's the same as Bal. Too big of a thing to put into the story if I don't want to commit to it. 

Maybe in a blue moon, I'll rather use him in a flashback or a nightmare (IF i can find him that is.)

Damn.. That actually makes a lot of sense and the wasteland fits it a lot more than coldharbor. 
Since I saw it in Eso, Bal's sphere is way darker and in cold colors, the deadlands however fit perfect for it. I'll take that into consideration, especially because of what you jsut wrote about  Akatosh's pettiness, which also fits very well into my version of him thank you for that^^
