Corrupting the "saint-to-be" nuns is such a classic! (but they never were saints in the first place)

So...does the crystal ball they watched the show is located inside the eyes of the Mara statue? Or is that just an invisible portal of sorts?

(It were kinda naughty though, if these mara statues had some hidden magic gems inside their eyes to survey the temples, kinda like a security camera)

So she lost 42 candidates to Arlan, well Mofo not gonna stop until 69 or... let's be honest... never!

Does Mara count Fiona with those 42? Because there were extenuating circumstances in the form of a vampiric leech/slug thing. Arlan carries only like, 40% of the blame there.

Though if you have lost 42 candidates in just a couple of decades to the exact same cause, you really should change your approach, she's just feeding saintesses to Arlan at this point. So at least 10% of the blame should go to Mara herself (I'm going to get a spectacular smiting for that)

I admit I'm drawing a blank on the crow. The Nord pantheon uses a hawk (Kyne) and an owl (Julianos), but I don't know one that's represented by crows or ravens. Nocturnal is, but I doubt she would hang around Dibella, nor care that Mara would bash her head in. I also don't know any connection between talos/ysmir and a crow, so the statue isn't helping me. Talos did die before being worshipped as a god, so "die again" might refer to that, but it could also fit Shor and Tsun.

And the goddess of art and beauty has her predictable priorities. Somewhere out there is a poet wondering why praying for inspiration never works.

Now now don't say that. Just because they liked to snack and one was a bit troublesome, doesn't mean they couldn't have been great saints u_u

Now they're sacred hartlos of the Arlan church tho 🤔 They might become Saints yet~

So what I was thinking, especially because the gods in the Gukahnverse don't seam to have a lot of power over the mortal realm, is that every god can watch from a place of worship. (So theoretically Talos could watch over all of Whiterun because of the statue 🤔 ) And because of how the mini shrines work ingame, they should be able to take a peek everywhere such a thing stands too if they like.

Technically she is part of that list. Alltho she would've been lost because of the leech anyway Mara is petty enough to still count her as Arlan's fault. (I mean, tbf Mara has any right to be petty when it comes to Mofo >_>)

What's funny is, she just could make her saints very young/old or chose guys for the role to be safe from Arlan 🤔
