Doesn't really add up, but well that's a problem of that quest, not your rendition of it.

I have spent some things.
But basically, you go to Joheric to ask her to join the guards.
He gives you a test by asking you to summon a cliff racer.
Then, you will see a contaminated tree and then talk to Blaise.
You go back to see Joheric who makes you invite a net.
Then, you go see Molly for the first time then go back to see Joheric.
Joheric explains the story to you. Then you return to see Molly with Blaize.
Then you go back to see Jiheric who asks you to go find Molly and Blaise.
Blaise dies, you confront Molly and you kill her.
You return to see Joheric.
There, you have several choices.
-You tell him that he is the worst head guardian.
-You tell him to let the time do it
-Or you kill him.

My point is more those folks ... so she was with us and got hit by a spell. That spell effectively cursed her, to bad, her problem, we banished her. Now she is vengeful (geee, I wonder why) and makes everyone suffer. Not even a hint suggesting that they tried to help her.
It's pretty classic Skyrim stuff though. There are no good folks involved, just various shades of grey, they are all "guilty".

It’s a nice little mod with simple quests, dialogue and simple npcs.
A mod to relax what.
Afterwards, there will be something darker after Hestra Nest, which I reserve.
