Now that I got your attention 🥴 A mentioned in chapter 50 This one is a bit important and will have influence on future stuff that you'll be seeing in Vargr Re.

I deviated a lot from Alice and her actual storyline with all my side gigs and quests. Partly my fault, partly because of the long break I had to do 🤔 But people who know me from Vargr OG or even Oldman Dovakiin know.. I kinda suck at finshing long Arcs 🥸 

So I want to hear your opinion on how to follow up on Alice. We got 3 options here.

 

Keep the status quo after this. Alice keeps being the psycho killer and we'll actually REALLY have to deal with her and Naemon soon after this (Cause it pisses me off a bit to have a subplot that's just there.) 

 

We can either finish her storyline with this Arc, something that can mean she vanishes (RIP) from the blog after we deal with the vamps and stuff, or she stays as a normal character kinda the same level of importance as Bethandy and Wednesday have. (So pork on sight  but non sequential to the story.) Which of which will be decided later. 🤔 Depence on how I want Gwen's character to develop I guess. I fear killing Alice might destroy it so I lean towards the second option. I like Gwen and want to keep her the way she is u_u

We'll keep Naemon here btw. He will still cause chaos and we can use him further as a "When the fuck does this asshole die already?" way.

 

Option three is the same as option two buuut, Naemon dies. Undeserved I know but I would like to give you that option. this would lead for me to decide if I am killing off lady D or if she might turn into a bigger issue 🤔 Aka takes his place. An option that also would give us another kind of energy I think. Because with her Arlan doesn't need to stay in the city and actually has to go out and do shit. 

 

I can work with all three options, the plan I am having for Harald and Kitten can work with any of these. 🤔

Here's an idea... Kill everybody- I'm kidding well you can kill Naemon and Lady D BUTT they don't necessarily have to stay dead maybe be in Oblivion or something like that for a while till you can think of something cool to do with them. So long as they are not hindering Arlan's story progression that way you can move on. Sound good? :):heart:;):thumbsup:

 

Note add. Perhaps Naemon gets put back together like Humpty Dumpty by a Necrofeelya Lesbomancer into an even more horrific abomination than before- I jest oh I slay me ha hahaa! Cicero team up kidding again. :sweat_smile:

It's not a bad idea but nothing I would like to do 🤔 The thing about Naemon is that he's a one trick pony. Lady D however is kinda an interesting thing to have.. But on the other hand it would be vampires all over again and so many already use those as the main enemy x,X WE will see. We will see. Let the Pool run a while before brainstorming about either of their fates.

Getting back to the status quo after this feels weird. There should be a substantial change after this entire kidnapping vampire thing, not a return to the schoolgirl by day, slasher by night thing.

 

So I think it's best to end the killer arc. Alice's arc can continue if you have idea, just not as a mysterious serial killer. I would prefer if she survives though. I like her, and I like Gwen, and I like the dynamic the two have together. 

 

Naemon on the other hand, I would keep. He has so much setup, but he is not the main villain of this arc. Killing him here would feel cheap. Alice also seems more like a weird hobby of his, and not a major project. Naemon is an insane megalomaniac super villain. Dying in a side project would cheapen his dead even further.
Instead, I'd prefer if he gets away, but the events here will sharpen his focus. Maybe he'll really commit to the "get Arlan's powers" plan, or some other mad scheme. He'd do something that becomes a big issue for the main cast (I almost said heroes, but they're definitely not that).

 

I want to see Naemon do something major, and fuck it up for himself, and I want to see him break down.

Yes this is exactly what I was thinking. Even if they rescue Alice without any major problem on the way, she's still becoming aware of her other side (I mean she got fucked by her other site.. Hard to forget that >_>)

Aye. These two together are scenes I very much enjoyed doing. I also think them sweet if ignoring the fact  that both of them are sleeping around.

I understandy ou there completly. The dice is on the table so it pretty much seems like most people right now want him gone.

If that is the last result I will try to make his end at least semi satisfying🤔 

But we'll see about this.. Maybe I'll take the idea @Jay-Omms had about him and change it a little to give us all a Neamon unleashed fight or, another idea about his end through his Hobby or his own stupidity might suit him too.

For now tho, the pool will be open until we're near the finishing line of the mansion arc (Which could be anything between 3 to 6 chapters. So roughly a good chunk of the summer depending on my schedule. So a few people who haven't thrown in their vote yet can change this at any giving time until then ^^

Well, prince Creepyface is doomed earlier than I expected. I wonder how you're going set it up that his death feels deserved.

This is just a random thought, but is there some way that Arlan figures out what happened to the clown bard? The one that Creepyface stabbed in chapter 11? That would send him to the top of Arlan's shitlist very quickly.

It won't be easy and I think it will never be enough to deserve it fully. But we got plenty of time to work towards this. I won't rush this arc 🤔

Daaamn, someone remembers her! I'm always happy when people do that, thanks for it 😃 

There are plenty of ways to do that. For one it wouldn't be off character for Pacman to just say it out loud. Another would be the magic Alice is currently in which absorbs her memorys and there are plenty of other magical or physical ways to make it known to him 🤔 Thing is.. the moment Arlan hears Naemon offed someone Arlan liked, Neamon has.. Maybe 2? Seconds left with all his limbs instact unless there is someone who can stop Arlan. 🤔 Hm.. There is Lady D.. totally able to.. Her Son the Vampire lord and aaallso Alice herself.. For now let's just see where this leads us^^ F
