Modding and me... An explaination thing.

So I keep getting the occasional message asking about the mods under my belt. "Have you abandoned it?" "Are you working on it?" e.t.c.

I think I'll just write this blog here, so I can link it every time a question comes up on the topic, for now.

First I work two jobs, one pays the bills, 40 hours a week... skilled labor working raw metals in the aerospace field. My second job is my fun money of which I only get a percentage of the monthly profits regardless of number of hours worked... and that job effectively negates my whole Saturday. Comes with being the silent partner in a small hobby store slinging magic cards and D&D books. Fridays too are "pain-day" where I get to sleep in, take a handful of pills for my slowly eroding spinal column and GM a D&D campaign for my group...

As such, after all is said and done, I only have about 3-1/2 hours a day to do things, like shower, shave, shit, and shine my boots. Sure I could put the 14 free hours a week I have into modding... but since last fall I have been mentally - between horribly numb and near ape-shit livid.

The reason I have not been modding for the most part since last fall, is my employers have their collective heads wedged so far up their asses that they are risking reaching critical mass and exploding in a nuclear fire of dumbshittery. For years they have been scaling back on us knuckle-dragging machine goons in small irritating ways. Pay raises got smaller and smaller, benefits got worse and worse. Then the last fucking straw came in the form of removing our 401K retirement and suspending pay raises indefinately. Then the shit frosting on the shit cake, is the salary asshats were not included in the screw the employees package... The guys responsible for making sure all the gears were greased and running smoothly fucked up and failed to make the fiscal quota, and the solution was to take it out on the 200+ workers on the floor.

PURE FUCK-SHITTERY!

So instead of burning the building to the ground, or setting off an F.A.E. to level the place, we took the high road and unionized. And like true bullies, my employers are looking for any way they can to fuck us up... pick us off, individually. Your truly, has been walking on eggshells and broken glass for the last few months because I am in the thick of it. I am walking a fine line between getting fired for being among the rabble, or showing any weakness.

So why don't I just pack up my toolbox and walk? You might ask. For starters, my employer fucked me hard... in such a way that if I had my wits at the time, I should have gotten a lawyer then... And I wouldn't have to work now. So, my battle on that front is very personal, and I want to give back.
Second, and maybe this is my Scottish DNA kicking in. But I hate it when people with elitist attitudes and fancy stuff, treat people like dogs. I'm in it for them too. They too have bills and families and responsibilities, I stay in the fight because they need all the allies they can get. If I leave now...

So that's my angry rant as to why, I haven't been active on my mods.

With any hope, this shit ends soon, feels like forever since I slept a full night.

Brother. Your feelings unveil the truth. Our fathers fled pure fuck-shittery and I think you should do the same. Easy for me to say behind a keyboard, but consider a courageous risk for your own Sovereignty sake. Fuck them and choose you and your own family on this. Be free, give your spine some slow Breathing stretches. Try to stop talking about heavy subjects when you can manage. Everything is from your mind, so get your head in the game. Peace Upon You.

Love and Honor.
