Well it's daytime in the middle of town, and guards are all over the place... so it should be safe i guess

(especially since most of the guards in my game are females, so they would definitely sympathize if something had happened )

Now if this was somewhere else...things could have ended quite differently

It is markarth though, very corrupt, they could be paid to look the other way.
